"Evie, why'd you take me from Mattheo, I miss him," i frowned, like a child.

"I have an outfit I made for you. Y'know to spruce up your goody-goody look," she glanced over my attire, giving it a not-so approving look.

"Well, what does it look like?" i ushered her to show me.

She pulled the custom made light blue jacket out from her rack of clothing. "Here," she placed in in my hands.

"Oh my gosh, Evie, you are incredibly talented," i said as i ran my hands over the intricate beading.

"It's no big deal," She shrugged.

"You know you could sell clothes like this. You'd make much more that a living,"

"You think?"

"I know," i reassured.

"Thanks Ryder," she smiled at me.

After I let Evie dress me, do my hair, and do my make up, we made our way to the tourney field and up the bleachers. We found Mal and Lonnie standing announcer the crowd.

The guys doing well, even with Carlos on the field. Despite him not being all that great. We were up by one, the victory just in reach.

Evie and Mal were the only ones not cheering but I made up for it by cheering even louder. The announcer was spewing words i could barely understand. A prince from the other team scored. The score was tied, two points each. I knew how badly Eugene wanted to win this, i'm sure Ben and the others did too.

Mattheo, Ben, Carlos, Jay, and Eugene maneuvered their way across the field, passing the ball back and forth to each other. Right before the buzzer sounds, Mattheo passes the ball to Ben who scores the winning goal and everyone cheered. The boys on the field, the guys on the bench, everyone in the stands. Minus Mal. It was so incredibly loud, i'm pretty sure i bursted an eardrum.

As the announcer was talking, Ben grabbed the mic. "Excuse me. Can I have your attention, please?" He said.

He stepped up onto the nearest platform. "There's something I'd like to say." The echo from his voice surrounded us.

"Say it!" i yelled, urging him to continue.

"Give me an M!" He yelled and made a make shift M with his arms.

"M" we all said copied his movement.

"Give me an A," he said and we did so. "Give me an L!" and we did that too. As the realization hit me, I turned to Mal.

"I love you Mal," he said into the mic looking directly at her.

"Aww," i gushed with Evie and Lonnie as Mal stood there.

*I actually refuse to write the songs as scenes, I'm sorry but yeah*

The cheerleaders launched Ben into the crowd. He crowd-surfed right up to Mal. When he was firmly on the bleachers next to the purple haired girl, he leaned down to kiss her, which she dodged.

Audrey came up by them and took the mic from Ben. "Chad's my boyfriend now!" She said enthusiastically.

After that, i toned her out, staring at Mattheo, who was still standing on the field. I wanted to be near him. So i took matters into my own hands. I pushed my way towards him.

"Hi," i smiled up at him.

"Hello, princess,"

"I love you," i blurted out. I didn't really mean to say it, but i did.

"Do you, now?" he asked.

"Yeah, i really do," i admitted. It's like something had taken over my body, i didn't mind it however.

"Do you love me?" I asked him.

"That's a good question, princess," he started before being pulled away by the team.

The next day I took my seat at my easel in art class, next to Mattheo and Tina.

The overwhelming feeling of joy i felt when I was around Mattheo was extraordinary. I loved being around him. I love him.

"Matt, I was thinking maybe you could be my families plus one at Ben's coronation," i told him.

"Really? You'd want a VK up there with you?"

"Of course, I love you why wouldn't i want to be seen with you?"

"I guess," he shrugged.

"And I was thinking, Ben and Mal are going on a date to the enchanted lake, maybe we could go on date too, maybe even a double date with them?" I explained my thought process.

"Sure, princess, whatever you'd like," he said nonchalantly.

"Well, where should we go? We don't have to go with Mal and Ben, actually i think they'd rather some alone time,"

"I don't know this place as well as you do, so i trust you to make the plan," he said.

"Ok, I'll start planning after class," i was giddy over the whole situation. Me and Mattheo were going on a date!

I had stolen Ben's idea of a picnic, but instead of the enchanted lake during the day me and Mattheo would be going to the enchanted lake at sunset. Once it was dark we'd do lanterns like my parents did years ago.

Ben was lying on my bed, looking oddly confused.

"What's wrong?" i asked.

"I don't know, something feels different. After me and Mal's date, i feel different." Ben explained.

"Bad different or good different?"

"Both?" he sounded unsure of himself, "I feel like i know her better now, i really like her. But i don't know why i was so infatuated with her in the beginning."

"Because you liked her, right?"

"I do. You know she's sweet, a lot sweeter than Audrey. She tried a strawberry for the first time today, it was adorable. And her eyes, her eyes, their the most magnificent shade of green ever. And at one point she thought i had drowned, and she didn't know how to swim but she still got in to try and save me. She's good,"

"Awe, Bennys in love,"

"I don't know, i guess,"

"So what's the problem?"

"I don't know why i loved her before today, or why i was so weirdly in love with her."

"I don't know Ben, you were obviously into her before today, practically drooled over her,"

"Did not," Ben hit my shoulder.

"Whatever, Ben, I need to get ready for my date,"

"Okay, okay," he said standing from my bed as Tina walked into our room.

"Bye Ben," Tina waved at him as I pushed him out of the door.

"Time to get you ready for a date, Ryder," Tina sat me down and pulled out her make-up bag.
