Panting, her voice trembling with a mix of exhaustion and satisfaction. "Donte... I can't control it.."
Sensing the danger but unable to stop, he moves with increased fervour, using my own strength to hold her steady and anchored amidst the storm of her unleashed power.
Voice strained but supportive "I'm right here with you, Amara. Let it all out."
As the magical energy begins to wane, the furniture slowly settles back into place.
The room, now a mess of scattered items, is quiet once more.
Amara's breathing is ragged, her body collapsing against mine as she tries to regain her composure.
Breathlessly, she apologised. "I'm so sorry... I didn't mean for that to happen."
Gently stroking her hair. "It's alright. We’ll clean up later. Right now, just focus on us."
Amara's energy slowly dissipates, leaving behind a sense of profound satisfaction and exhaustion.
The intensity of our moment has left both of us drained but deeply connected.
Me and Amara settle into the calm after our intense encounter, gently spooning her and running my hand through her hair, Amara's breathing gradually returns to normal.
A playful glint appears in her eyes as she turns her head slightly to look at me.
With a teasing smile, "Well, I guess we’ve definitely taken things one step at a time… and maybe a few extra steps in between."
Chuckling softly, "I suppose you could say we went above and beyond."
Laughing lightly, her voice still breathed. "Exactly. If we keep this up, we might need a map to find our way back."
I laugh along, my arms tightening around her in a loving embrace.
Smiling. "As long as we’re exploring together, I’m up for any adventure."
Grinning Amara spoke, "Good to know. Here’s to more ‘steps’ and fewer maps."
