Thomas was awakened by the blood rushing to his head. He was upside down staring at the laptop which was also upside down. If he wasn't already getting light headed it would have been almost funny. The near amusement quickly wore off when he read the screen Test time, 100% of your (life) grade. Any thoughts that this might be a prank were gone in an instant. Suddenly all the lights in the room came on. It appeared he was in a glass box, not a room, but he couldn't be for sure where he had been before he was hung up. Following the chain with his eyes it appeared to go out of the roof and through a pulley with a crank. A loud buzzing sound began echoing through the empty space, like static from an old school PA system, followed by an obviously masked voice. "Hello Coach Dean, or should I say former Coach Dean?" The voice began, it sounded like it was being slowed down and the octave dropped a few decibels. "I don't know if you've had time to look down yet but if you have I'm sure you can appreciate the gravity of the situation you are currently in" Thomas hadn't looked down, he was too concerned with what was up. Finally looking down he saw, with utter dismay, a giant wood chipper, a large 2024 and American flag sticker was placed on the top of the entrance. His head couldn't have been 3 feet from the opening. "Don't worry though, as long as you answer my questions right you are going to be ok, if not then..." and as if to show how the danger he was in the chain jerked and dropped him about half a foot. "I'm sure you're confused by the glass box, but to be honest I just want to avoid most of the mess" the laugh at the other end made Thomas's skin crawl. "Well Coach, are you ready?" the voice asked "I hope so because if not..." that's when the wood chipper turned on.
