"This was one of the things," Atsumu says pulling out a folded-up piece of paper and handing it to you. You unfolded the paper to reveal it was a relatively old photograph due to its faded color.

You recognized the woman in the photo as Gran but you were confused as to why Atsumu was showing it to you. "This made you come here?" you questioned, feeling awkward as you held the photo. "Do you see where she's at?" he asks and you glance back at the photo where you can see sand and water. "A beach?" you reply still with a confused look on your face.

"This beach," he clarifies pointing at the ground in front of you, "Look at them," he says leaning closer to you and pointing out a family in the background of the photo. You glance at him giving him a look as if he's crazy before you bring the photo closer to you and squint.

It takes you a moment to make out the—at first seemingly random people in the background until you see your dad. With a few less gray hairs than he had when you saw him. In the photo, he was holding you—when you were still a baby and your brother was pouting facing your dad. Cut off from the photo you could easily spot your mother's figure.

"Woah wait," you gasp as you continue to stare at the three of you in the photo. "When was this?" Atsumu gestures for you to look at the back of the photo. You flip the picture around and in the bottom corner written small in blue ink pen, it reads. 'June 3, 1998 — Waiwai Beach'.

After you read it you can't help but muse out loud about how crazy of a coincidence that was before handing the photo back to Atsumu."I think Gran left that for me on purpose, she knew I was being so hesitant about coming to see you but I don't know why she wouldn't do it sooner," he says folding the picture back up and putting it back in his pocket.

"Atsumu," you say before hesitating to continue. "I'm glad you're here," you crack a smile. The blonde's face lights up just a bit as he returns the smile. "I'm glad too, even if it took this long,"

You'd knowingly gotten physically closer to Atsumu and your arms had brushed against each other as you both watched the sun finally start to peak through the horizon. "Do you wanna grab breakfast with me?" You turn and whisper to Atsumu suddenly.

Atsumu isn't one to disagree with you, so you both left the beach and walked back up the path that led to your backyard and around the house to the front door. "I'm just gonna grab my keys—it'll be a second," you tell him, instructing him to stay on the porch.

You quickly popped inside and went to grab your car keys off the kitchen counter and on your way back to the door Koji is trying to poke his head outside. "No you can't go out there," you whisper trying to pick up your cat. But he uses his claws to grip the welcome rug at the front door and he meows loudly.
