I never realized how easy it was for someone to leave.
We smiled as we said goodbye, but the frown marring my face now told a different story of our parting.
The last time I saw you, your hair was long and wild, your eyes were bright and had storms raging in them, and you glowed like my own personal sun.
But now as you pass me, like the strangers we used to be, my eyes must be deceived.
Now I have seen a new shade of you, and it doesn't suit you.
I thought that our parting would be as death drove between us but now that silence became tangible, it strangled whatever was left of us.
The laughs shared between us now have no sound, our hugs don't touch, and our eyes won't meet.
You sure made me a fool.
The way you left me has my bones breaking in places that don't exist, and my heart cracking to the point of shattering.
And now that you've left me, I'm a skeleton that lacks the part that makes me human.
