I cried and you sat with me
your tail flicks,
whiskers flare,
and sweet calls.
I didn't think that i'd have to say goodbye
so maybe we wont
I didn't know I could love something that was never mine,
but then you sprawled across my feet,
and I knew that to be a lie.
although you hated your belly rubbed,
you blinked slowly and watched me with your beautiful green eyes.
