Months and months later...
Bey POV
Chris and I have still been going strong. We've learned so much about each other. It's been months though since I've spoken to Richard. He still disapproves of Chris and he hasn't been telling me who told him all of this for some weird reason. Today, enough is enough. I feel like Chris has been dropping hints about getting engaged. My new album is almost ready and I'm putting some final touches on it. Chris has been so supportive and also working on his new album coming out next year. Chris comes with me to my moms house and momma lets us in and gives us hugs.
Momma T: I wasn't expecting yall here. I mean you're of course always welcome b-
Bey: where's Richard?
Momma T: he should be back any minute. He just went to the store for some groceries. *door opens* oh here he is now.
The tension is thick. Chris and Richard stare at eachother and it's been months since they've seen eachother.
Richard: I think I forgot something at the store, I'll be r-
Momma T: No! Sit your ass down! You've ignored me long enough on this subject but she is our daughter and we're talking about this right now! 
Mom is more forgiving than Richard. Even when Chris explained a little bit about the back story, everyone but Richard forgives him and sees it's not his fault. He only told them bits and pieces so they get the just of things.
Chris: sir, it's killing your daughter to see her so upset over the fact that her step father, who's basically like a father, disapproves of me. We truely make eachother so happy. It's a feeling of love we've never felt before.
Bey: but there's something I need to especially know. Who told you about Chris? Why is it so secretive? I know you ain't hire a P.I.. so who is it?
Richard: *sighs* listen, I love you as if your my own daughter. But seeing you hurt and betrayed for years has destroyed the idea of a man you can pick. I fear you make the mistakes your mother did. I see for a while you guys are happy, no bruises or cries. The person who told me. I guess you both deserve the truth. The person who told me is your ex wife.
B&C: ex wife?
Bey: what he talkin about?
Richard: Jolene?
Everyone: what?!
