It's been a while since they were sitting there. Y/n was peacefully sipping her drink. There was silence between them and y/n thought to break it. She looked at Taehyung

Y/n: Do you like dancing?

Taehyung slightly raised an eyebrow at her

Taehyung: No

Y/n: oh..

He looked at her, tilting his head slightly.

Taehyung: Ask me passionately

Y/n looked at him, a hint of curiosity in her eyes. She leaned slightly closer, a playful smile curling the corners of her lips.

Y/n: Will you dance with me?

she repeated and Taehyung smiled warmly

Taehyung: Sure

Y/n: really!! Now the party will be fun..

Taehyung took her hand and led her to the dance floor.

He placed a hand on her hips, gently pulled her closer. His movements were smooth and controlled. His eyes never left hers.

Y/n: Mr.Kim..Have you ever danced like this with Ms.Park?

She asked curiously

Taehyung: No..I haven't

She nodded

Taehyung: Don't call me Mr.Kim unless we're in the office.

Y/n: so, what should I call you?

Taehyung: it's Taehyung, You will call me Taehyung..

Y/n: o-oh ok.. Taehyung..

They were silent for a while and then

Y/n: By the way, Taehyung..Am I looking pretty..

Taehyung was caught off guard by y/n's question, he looked at her for a moment. He wasn't expecting this.

For a moment, he was at a loss for words, unsure of how to respond. But then he decided to response

Taehyung: Hmm..

Y/n: Just "Hmm"

she made a sad pout and seeing her like this made his heart ache. He wanted to say many more things but he wasn't sure if it would be okay...

Taehyung: You're looking gorgeous..

He finally said and smiled softly at her

Y/n blushed after hearing this.

Taehyung's words, though simple but it made y/n's heart skip a beat. The butterflies in her stomach swarming in a whirlwind of excitement.

Y/n: Really..T-thank you

She whispered softly. Taehyung held her close as they continued to dance. Holding her with a possessive grip.

The world around them seemed to blur, All he could focus on was the woman in his arms. He pulled her even closer, their bodies pressed against each other as they were enjoying their presence.

Taehyung: Have you known Jungkook for a long time?

Y/n: not long ago, actually a month ago I shifted my house and he's my neighbour.

Taehyung nodded slightly

Y/n: and We planned to watch a movie tonight..
I will go to his house for the first time after this party..
