Chapter - 15

Taehyung Pov

"Is she crying? But For what ?" This thoughts were spinning around my mind and after a moment I decided to check her.

When I entered her room I saw she was crying while covering her whole body with the blanket.so I went to her..

Taehyung: y/n, are you alright??

Y/n froze when she heard taehyung's voice. He stepped into the room.
She had been crying silently, hoping not to make any noise. But now, she couldn't hide the tears that were streaming down her face.

She clear her throat, wiped her eyes gently and removed the blanket from her face.

Y/n: I-I'm fine, you should go to your room.

(she managed to say)

But Taehyung just ignored her words and sat down next to her on the bed.

Taehyung: You're clearly not fine

he said, his tone soft yet firm.

Taehyung: Don't try to pretend. If you tell me your problems, you know I can fix it.

Y/n sighed softly and wiped her tears from her face.

Y/n: it-it's just I'm afraid of thunderstorms.

Taehyung nodded, a sight of concern painted on his face .

Taehyung: Do you want me to stay here with you for a while?

Y/n's heart fluttered at Taehyung's question. She paused for a moment before nodding, her voice soft and vulnerable.

Y/n: Really..I'd appreciate it if you could stay here with me.

Taehyung smiled softly and settled himself comfortably next to her. The room was quiet. The sound of the rain outside, pattering against the window, filled the room creating a soothing melody.

But then a loud thunderclap made y/n flinch hard. Without thinking anything, she wrapped her arms around Taehyung. Her small figure was trembling against his chest.

Taehyung's eyes widened in surprise at her sudden action but he responded immediately. He wrapped his arms around her , holding her close.

Taehyung: It's okay, I'm here. You're safe with me..

He whispered, rubbing her back gently. After sometime you fall asleep.

Next Morning

Taehyung slowly opened his eyes, rubbed his eyes gently. He reached out his hand, expecting to feel the presence of Y/n next to him, but all he felt was the empty space.

He sat up in bed, looking around the room.

Taehyung: Where was she?

He get up from the bed , went outside and found Y/n standing in the kitchen, preparing breakfast.
He approached her, still rubbing his sleepy eyes.

Y/n : oh hey, you woke up. Thank you so much for staying with me last night.

Taehyung: don't thank me, it was no problem at all.

He leaned against the counter, watching her prepare the food.

Taehyung: You're up early.

Y/n: yeah because today we have a meeting with the Kang corporation.

Taehyung: yeah right, Hope everything goes well.

Y/n: Everything will go smoothly, don't worry. After all we worked really hard for this partnership.

Time skip

After having our breakfast we went to office for the meeting. The meeting went well. They were very happy to see our project.

Business partner: Mr.Kim, you are so lucky to have a brilliant secretary like Ms.Y/n beside you.

Taehyung: thanks Mr. Kang and Y/n I'm so proud of you.

YIn: Thank you Mr. Kim.

In car

Y/n: See, I told you. Everything will go smoothly.

Taehyung smiled and nodded his head

Taehyung: You were right.

He admitted

Taehyung: You did an excellent job during the meeting. I could see their satisfaction, and honestly, I can't blame them. You're too good at it.

He glanced at y/n before focusing his attention back on the road.

Taehyung: I am grateful to have someone as capable as you as my secretary.

Y/n blushed slightly at his praise, her heart fluttering a little. It wasn't often that she received compliments from him.

Y/n: Thank you, I just did my job.

Taehyung: after reaching home, we've to pack up everything as you know that we are leaving for Korea tomorrow.

Y/n nodded

It's been 5 months, Taehyung and Y/n had worked closely together, spending almost all their time working side by side.

As the days passed, Y/n couldn't help but realize that her feelings for Taehyung were growing deeper and stronger.

But she couldn't deny that he has a girlfriend.

Taehyung Pov

On the other hand, Taehyung was struggling with his feelings too. He had always kept his emotions to himself, but being around Y/n all the time made it hard to ignore his feelings.

It's been a long time that he was drawn to her, impressed by her hard work and beauty. But he wanted to ignore this feeling.
Because He wasn't sure that " Is this his true feeling or just attraction.."

Over the past 5 months, Taehyung had come to realize something. He had begun to see Y/n not just as his secretary , but as a woman, someone he trusted and cared for deeply.

He found himself constantly thinking about her, worrying about her, and wanting to be near her.

Taehyung: Should I tell her?

This question was spinning around his mind. He was nervous. He knew that this confession could change their relationship forever.

Taehyung: I'll tell her about it no matter what ..I can't bottle up my feelings for her forever..
