10. First Night

Ragini's POV

Suddenly a loud thud i hear.

And he is here.

His walk is not normal.

I gulped and i realised that he is drunk.

I straighten myself a little. He closes the door with a loud thud. I gulped again.

Why he closes the door ?

Why did he drunk ?

My breathes get so heavy that i could cry in any moment.

He is coming slowly the chamber is very large it takes some moments to him for reaching the bed.

I am looking at him through my viel.

His steps are not showing that he is completely drunk. He is just tipsy maybe.

He is coming slowly and the lights of candles are dim. A very cold wind came from the window and touched my body which shook me to the core. Not because the it is cold but the situation is torturing.

He comes to the bed. He cast his eyes around the decorated room.My eyes and his haven't met since the time he entered the room.

But now he started looking at me carefully. We both maintained a eye contact. He sat on the bed's edge downwards in left side and i am sitting on the right upwards .But he didn't let our eye contact break even once.

I was not even willing to lose but i am feeling shy my cheeks got pink and breathes hot.

His silence is killing me.He hasn't said a word yet.My anxiety is increasing with time. He may not have said a single word but his eyes are probably saying a lot.

Does he want to do something ?

I Question myself.

I didn't even know that Ranvijay drank alcohol. I wasn't nervous until I knew this. He may do something under the influence of alcohol.I married to him because he is nice sweet man not drinker.

Suddenly he starts coming closer in a very seducing way while maintaing eye contact. I felt uneasy. I don't even dare to move. He is getting close and suddenly he leans to the table beside me.

"Hum to bas pani le rahe the"

"I was just taking water"

I take a deep breath to calm myself.

Due to intoxication, his voice had become deeper than before which is giving me goosebumps.

My hands is trembling which he noticed while drinking water.

"Aap darr rahi hai Ragini"

"You are scared Ragini ?"

I gulped again and close my eyes for a second to calming.

His big eyes is starting at me when i open my eyes.

"Ragini mante hai humne sharab pi hai aur shadi ki pehli raat agar pati sharab pikar aaye to darna bhi jayaz hai"

"Ragini i admit that I have drunk alcohol and if husband comes drunk on the first night of marriage, then it is right to be scared."

My fear subsided a little. I don't know why but he is so strong personality that i believe every word of him.
