25. A broken night

There was a lot of noise in the palace, i open the eyes. But my body is hurting so bad that i can't even move a little. I just don't understand how I slept for so long today. Sun has rosen. I tried to call Lajjo but the weakness of my body has broken me in a very bad way.I tried to move my neck but it seemed as if a huge weight had been placed on my neck and I was unable to move it. My throat was also very dry. I move my right arm to take water but But the water jug ​​fell down with a loud noise.

Due to this sound Lajjo came running.

"Rani sa"

She came and a huge smile appered on her face.

"How are you feeling."

She asked me and i make a face to understand.

"What will happen to me? I'm fine, something just isn't right. I want to drink some water. Give me some"

She give me water and  swallow. The burning sensation in my throat went away as soon as I swallowed the water.

I take a deep breath and manage to straighten slowly.

"Laj, tell me why there was so much noise in the palace today."

Her face turned pale as soon i asked this.

"A wedding is taking place in the palace"

I was blown away. I slept only for one night but I don't know how I woke up after a week.

I gasped for breath.

How can this happen ? I held Lajo's hand and asked her to tell me how I woke up after so many days.

She lowered her eyes and said

"You were poisoned queen"

My mouth hung open i tried to remember the night i was waiting for Rana sa to come from the war. And after drinking my herbal tea. I was not able to breath and after taking few steps.Blood started coming out of my mouth. I after that fell down and lot my consciousness.

My attention was more on Rana Sa than myself. So i asked her

"But, how is Ranvijay.Has he come back from the fight ?"

I just wanted to hear yes. I wasn't able to hear anything else. I just wanted to see him okay.

She nodded in yes.

"He came back the same night. The fight is in our favor.He is the one who has cured you. He was the one who discovered the antidote for you otherwise the physician would have given up"

A big smile came on face not because of he has cured me but he is alright and fight is our favour. After this i want to meet him. I want to see him with my eyes.

But right now I have to be okay because I am the only sister-in-law of the groom. I want to be in his happiness. I asked Lajjo to prepare a great hot bath for me.

She went from there to prepare.

Once again you have gifted me my life.

I was very happy.

I went for the bath by the help of Lajjo And took a nice long bath. Lajo helped me with the bath.

I wear a light green attire and wear a minimal jewellery. I look at the mirror. I looked at my face which was pale with weakness. Lajjo was making my hair bun today.
