49. Who is Culprit ?

Before i could ask them something further, Kusum comes from inside and requests me to come in.

"Bhai sa, you go we will talk later about the culprit."

I nodded and came inside.

"What happend ?"

Rana sa, the situation is quite worrying because the arrow had a special poison on it. Thankfully, you acted fast and removed it, but the poison had already done considerable harm.The arrow had reached the muscles of her heart, the wound is very deep. The situation is extremely critical.

"Will she survive, though ?"

"Why are you showing so much concern now ?
You started this war to kill, didn't you ?
So why this false worry ?"

I greeted my teeth.

Her father start saying rubbish to me. Before i could answer him in his tone, Raghav came to me and ask me to leave.

I knitted my eyebrows.

"Please come outside, this is very important !"

"Take care of her !"

I ordered to Lajjo and Kusum.

Before leaving i maintain a threatening eye contact with th king if Bhawanigarh. The grip of Raghav's hand on my bicep got tighten.

In slow steps, i left the chamber. I walk little bit away from the chamber. We all stand in some private space of balcony to discuss what is happening. The clouds get darker like this situation. Wind start piercing my eardrums in slower sound while Raghav told me about the facts, the reality, tha game our enemies played with us.

"Order them all to meet me at the courtroom. Bring him, also there"

They nodded and i realise what should i do. I not just a common man. I am a King. I have forgot that. But now it is in my mind. First i order my army to go back to the kingdom. No war is happing here and the went to near pond. My steps is slower that the usual, but more aggressive more dangerous.

Seeing my reflection in the water reminded me of what i am capable of now. If anything happens to my queen, i will set this entire palace ablaze.

I sat on my knees and went my fingers. The water's nature made me shivered a little. I bend my palm a little and gather water to splash on my face. The blow up of wind make it more dramatic by blowing my hairs. I repeat it twice to relax a bit.

"Everything is ready Bhai sa !"

I lifted my lashes. Water drips from it and i set my hairs with wet hands, sucked my lips a little and ready to punish the culprits. I pat Raghav's back in gratitude and went straight to the courtroom. While crossing the gallery I stretched out my hand towards Raghav while walking slowly so that he could give me my sword.

"I will spare no one !"

Everyone was already present in the courtroom before i arrived. There are standing. Their faces were pale, and i could sense their uncertainty about what i might do next. Which was true !

"Good that all of you are present here."

I stand in front of them.

"What happend Rana sa ?"

Ragini's mother asks me in slow tensed tone. Her eyes are tensed.

"Bring the culprit !"

As soon as they heard the culprit's name, their jaws dropped. Everyone's face has the same question.
