Skit: On the Start Line

The morning sun poured through the dorm windows, casting long shadows on the room. The alarm rang loudly in both the girls' and the boys' dorms, causing the members of the budding group to stir from sleep, the promise of a new day filling the air with anticipation.

After a quick breakfast, the eight members gathered in the meeting room. Sejin, the group's recently appointed manager, cleared his throat. "Today, we're going to start discussing some crucial details," he began, his voice carrying a sense of ambition. "Let's start with the roles and positions of each of you."

Sejin's words hung in the air, filled with anticipation and a hint of tension. The members exchanged glances, their minds racing with possibilities.

"We've been carefully considering your strengths and weaknesses," Sejin continued. "Based on our observations, we believe the following roles would best suit each of you."

He began to assign roles, starting with the eldest member. "Seokjin, you'll be one of the singers. You'll also be one of the visuals of the group, responsible for our image and appearance." Seokjin nodded, a shy smile on his face. He had always been known for his handsome features but being one of the visuals of a K-pop group was unexpected according to him.

"Yoongi, you'll be the rapper and producer of the group," Sejin announced. "Your skills in songwriting and composition are invaluable. And as you know, we value unique artists. We also give them the freedom to do a lot of things as compared to other companies, so you have the privilege of composing your own songs." Yoongi nodded, joy swirling in his eyes. He had worked hard on his music which was his passion and love of his life, and he was glad his efforts and hard work were recognized.

"Hoseok, as for you, you'll be a rapper and main dancer of the group. You can use the studios for composing music. Now, we think you're very talented in dancing, so we give you the approval to choreograph the group's choreo alongside your teacher. Also, we acknowledge that your voice suits songs that require singing, so you'll be a sub-vocal too," Sejin said. Hoseok grinned, his eyes sparkling with excitement. He loved to dance and rap. This was just the perfect agreement for him. But as for singing, he wasn't sure that it was the right choice for him.

Sejin turned to Arin, a knowing smile on his face. "Arin, you'll be a rapper and vocalist of the group. You're very attractive, so you'll be a visual too," he announced. Arin opened her mouth to protest but Sejin continued, "Your talent and versatility are invaluable assets." Arin's eyes widened in surprise. She had never considered herself an amazing rapper, but she knew that Sejin had faith in her abilities. And she was determined to not let him down.

"Namjoon, you'll be the leader of the group, as discussed previously," Sejin continued. "You'll be responsible for making decisions and guiding the team. And you'll also be one of the rappers. You can compose your songs too, just like Yoongi." Namjoon accepted the role of a leader with a determined nod. He knew this was going to happen and so, he was ready for the challenge. As for being a rapper, he was elated to be able to contribute to songwriting and composing music, which was his dream since childhood.

"Jimin, you'll be the lead vocalist and one of the main dancers of the group, beside Hoseok," Sejin announced. "Your vocal talent and your high vocal range are exceptional." Jimin nodded, his cheeks flushed with pride. He had worked hard to improve his singing and practice his dance every day, and he was glad his efforts finally paid off.

"Taehyung, you'll be one of the visuals of the group and a vocalist," Sejin continued. "Your deep baritone voice will show the versatile nature of this group. You're young too, so your visuals are quite youthful." Taehyung smiled, his eyes twinkling with excitement. He was keen to showcase his talents.
