April 24, 2013

Arin sat down in her shared studio, eager to start working on her new song. She powered on the computer, but to her dismay, it was running incredibly slow. The cursor lagged, and the screen flickered.

"Ugh, it's always so slow," she muttered, frustration creeping in. She tried restarting the computer, but it didn't help.

Just then, Namjoon walked in. "RiRi? You're here? I was wondering where you'd gone off to." Arin looked up from the computer and said, "Oh, hey there Joonie. This stupid computer is acting up again."

"What happened?" he asked, noticing her brows scrunched up in irritation.

"Can't we get another computer?" she replied, frustration evident in her voice. "This one's so slow, I can't get anything done."

Namjoon chuckled. "Don't worry, I'll take a look."

Arin gasped in realization. "What if there's a virus?"

"A virus? Doubtful," Namjoon replied. "I'll figure this out. In the meantime, why don't you take a break? This might take some while. Maybe talk to the others and see what they're up to?"

"Oh okay. I guess I'll practice my dance in the meantime. Tell me when you're done, k?" Arin said, getting up from the chair and stretching her muscles.

"I will," he said. As soon as Arin left the studio, Namjoon let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. He quickly deleted his browsing history. He knew the reason why the computer was like this. It was because he watches...inappropriate videos online.

He knew he shouldn't have been watching those videos, especially on a shared computer. He decided to be more careful in the future.

He finished troubleshooting the computer and fixed the issue. He then ensured there was no trace of what he had been doing. He didn't want anyone to find out what he had been doing.

He left the studio and set out to find Arin. As he was walking, he couldn't help imagining Arin in the different positions he'd seen in the sinful videos. He imagined her bent over, her long hair wrapped around his fist. Namjoon shook his head, dismissing the inappropriate thoughts. He reminded himself that they were only friends and bandmates and that their relationship should remain...professional. He also reminded himself that she didn't see him romantically and she never would, and even if she did, somehow, they couldn't be together because of the new life they chose.

He soon found Arin in one of the practice rooms. As he observed her quietly from the corner of the room, his mind unwantedly wandered again. He fantasized about how soft her skin must be, how her curves would feel under his touch. He thought about how her lips would taste like, how she would look under him, completely his.

He watched her dance moves, his eyes roaming all over her body, drinking in every single detail.

His train of thought was broken when Arin stopped dancing as she noticed him in the mirror, and exclaimed, "Joonie! You almost scared me!" He replied innocently, scratching the back of his neck, "Oh sorry, I didn't mean to stare. Uhh, anyways I came to tell you that the computer is fixed."

Arin returned to the studio with Namjoon at her side. "Thanks, Joonie," she said. "I guess I'll get back to work then."

Namjoon nodded, a slight blush creeping onto his cheeks. He loved the nickname she gave him, but he tried to keep his composure. He didn't want to draw attention to his feelings and the butterflies he was starting to feel in his stomach.

Namjoon replied shakily, "Y-Yeah, let's get back to w-work." Clearing his throat, he asked, "Can I join you?"

"Sure, why not?" Arin replied, surprised but pleased. "What do you want to do?" Namjoon smiled. Surely, if he couldn't have Arin, his angel, he could still enjoy her company, right?

He responded, "I want to write a song with you. I've been thinking about this melody for a while, and I think it could be a good starting point."

Arin's eyes lit up with excitement. She loved collaborating with others. Learning how to produce music had been a challenge at first, but when she understood it, she started enjoying the process and found it rewarding. She and Namjoon had different strengths, but they complemented each other well.

"That sounds fun," she said. "Let's do it, Joonie!"

And so, they spent the rest of the evening working on their new song. They bounced ideas off each other, experimented with different melodies and lyrics, and eventually, they created a beautiful song that they were both proud of.

A/N: Hey there. Y'all got a new update today. And today's chapter is very...umm...well, I think the title explains it all.

All I'll say right now is that I have absolutely no idea where I'm going with Arin's love interests. I'm just experimenting. Hope you all liked the chapter. It was something...new and different...from what I usually write. Anyways, stay tuned. Byeee
