*Arin POV*

Today morning, Sejin-ssi told me that he had something important to discuss with me and the BTS trainees. I was heading to the meeting room for the same reason.

When I opened the door, I found the three rap boys along with Seokjin already seated in the chairs in front of the table. I went forward and took my seat beside Seokjin. I whispered to him, "Am I late? Did Sejin-ssi tell you what this is about?" Seokjin merely shook his head at both my questions.

Suddenly the door creaked open and in came Sejin. The room fell silent as all eyes turned to him. He cleared his throat, his expression a mix of anticipation and nervousness. "I have something important to tell you all," he began, his voice echoing in the quiet room.

My heart pulsed in my chest. Could this be it? Would he tell us about the debut? The moment we had all been waiting for?

The other members exchanged glances, their curiosity piqued. They leaned forward, their bodies tense with anticipation.

"Okay let's cut to the chase. You're going to debut as a group," Sejin announced, his voice firm yet filled with a sense of anticipation. The words hung heavy in the air, each member's expression a mixture of shock and excitement.

This was it. The moment I had been dreaming of. The thought of sharing the stage with these incredibly talented individuals was both terrifying and exhilarating.

Yoongi simply nodded, his expression unchanged. Hoseok, on the other hand, jumped up and down, his infectious enthusiasm spreading to the others. Seokjin's eyes and jaw were wide in surprise while Namjoon leaned forward to ask, "Wait...Can you elaborate hyung? Like when and who all are there?"

"Well, the final lineup isn't yet decided. The other trainees might debut alongside you, but don't worry...you five will definitely be there cause you're the best trainees we have right now. But you still have to train for two more years according to your contracts. Don't worry though, we're recruiting more talented people. Today, a young boy is coming here to sign the contract. I believe he has natural talent and that he will be a great addition to this group," Sejin explained.

Everyone nodded. Suddenly a question popped into my head and I asked Sejin worriedly, "Wait wait wait...I'm also debuting in BTS? Along with boys? Am I gonna be the only girl?"

Sejin nodded and answered, "Yes. We've decided that your raw talent deserves to be recognized. If you debut solo, you won't catch much attention since you'll just be one individual. But debuting in a band, and being the only girl in it would bring a lot of attention...male attention to the group."

"So I'm gonna be used to bring attention to the group?" I asked accusingly.

"Well, don't word it like that. Also if we recruit another female trainee, then she'll debut with you in BTS only. So don't worry much," Sejin reassured me.

"But if you're not able to find a suitable female trainee, then I'll be the only girl in the group?" I asked, confirming.

"Well yeah," Sejin replied. But seeing my lips turn into a frown, he quickly added, "Hey, it's gonna be okay...Ugh, okay listen here. I shouldn't be telling you this right now but Bang PD has decided that BTS will have only eight members. You've known Seokjin since childhood and you're already good friends with Namjoon, Yoongi, and Hoseok. You five will just meet three unfamiliar kids...if...we decide that the trainees we have right now are not good enough to debut. It's gonna be fine. I'm sure you all will warm up to each other in no time."

"Oh, okay I guess," I grinned.

Sejin said, "Now come on, let's go and greet the new boy. He's probably waiting for us in the reception."

Jungkook's heart pounded like a drumbeat as he pushed open the heavy doors of Big Hit Entertainment. The building, towering and imposing, seemed to loom over him. 

He had gotten many offers from different entertainment companies and he had been visiting the company buildings to see which one was the best. Little did he know that this building would soon become his home for a long time.

A mix of excitement and apprehension washed over him. This was it – the start of a new chapter, a chance to chase his dreams. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves. Inside, the building was bustling with activity, a hive of energy and creativity.

Jungkook's heart skipped a beat as he saw a group of people approaching him. There was a mix of familiarity and strangeness in their gazes. He recognized Sejin from their conversation before, but the others were new faces.

One stood out immediately. A boy with a bright smile that seemed to light up the entire room, later revealed to be Hoseok, exuded a bright and sunny aura. At the opposite end of the spectrum was Yoongi, his expression neutral, almost uninterested. The other three, Namjoon, Seokjin, and Arin, observed him with a mix of curiosity and anticipation.

Jungkook, overwhelmed by the sudden attention and gazes, shifted his weight nervously. He managed to give a shy nod in response to Hoseok's greeting. Yoongi, as expected, offered only a subtle nod.

Arin, sensing the awkwardness, stepped forward. "Don't mind them," she said, trying to lighten the mood. "They're just excited to meet our potentially newest member." She offered Jungkook a reassuring smile.

Sejin, observing the dynamics of the group, felt a sense of connection forming. He realized that despite their differences, they were all bound by a common goal: to succeed as a group.

After the initial introductions were over, Sejin led Jungkook to a small, private room. The air was thick with anticipation. Jungkook's heart beat against his body as he sat down, a contract placed before him. It was a moment of truth, a decision that would shape the rest of his life.

With trembling hands, Jungkook picked up the contract and read it thoroughly. He had made his decision when he saw the trainees and Namjoon's thick thighs. Jungkook picked up the pen.

Signing the contract meant committing himself to a world unknown, filled with both dreams and challenges. But as he looked at his reflection in the window, he saw determination in his eyes. This was his chance, and he was ready to grab it with both hands. Jungkook signed his name in the blank space. Sejin patted him on the back and led him out of the room to the other members.

"Get acquainted with them. If you're willing to, you can move into the dorms tomorrow," Sejin advised. Jungkook simply nodded.

He looked at the members and found that their eyes were filled with a mix of curiosity and welcome. It was at that moment that young Jungkook realized he wasn't alone in this journey. He was part of something bigger, something special.

A sense of belonging washed over him. He was no longer just Jeon Jungkook, the boy with a dream. He was now potentially a member of a team, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

A/N: WOOHOO, 3 updates in a day, yall got a treat today. Well, here is JK. Ik i said in the last chp tht Jimin wud be coming but apparently i got the order of the members wrong. Anyways, next member to come will be Taehyung. Alright stay healthy n stay tuned. byee
