Carter fixed her lipgloss before she brushed her hair and turned around to face Paul who sat on her bed, watching her, "so?" she asked, throwing her hands up, "how do I look?" she asked her boyfriend.

She wore a mint green floor-length gown with floral embroidery all over it. The dress hugged her body delicately, the neckline adorned with soft ruffles to make them look like petals and the straps resembled vines that climbed over her shoulders. The gown flowed gracefully when she moved, revealing a high slit on her left leg.

She smiled as she spun around for Paul who eyed her adoringly, he looked her up and down, grinning like a wild man, "you look... enchanting," he sighed causing Carter to giggle, "like a fairy."

She gasped as he moved to lie down on his stomach and quickly stopped him, "Don't!" she scolded, "You'll ruin your suit!" she lunged out for him but he dodged, cackling loudly.

She narrowed her eyes before they fell to his tie and softened, she shook her head as she sighed softly, "I can't believe you matched with me," she mumbled as she looked at his mint green tie. Paul had worn a grey suit, insisting on matching it with Carter.

He reached out for her, grabbing her by the waist and turning her around so her back met his chest he placed small pecks across her neck to her cheek, "Well, I need to show everyone who I belong to, no?" he asked and she grinned, "hell yeah."

"Carter!" she heard her mother call out as Paul let her go and went to put his shoes on, "are you kids done? We're gonna be late!"

"Yeah, Mom, we'll be right down!" she called as she too quickly grabbed her heels and grabbed her clutch. She grabbed a few things she might need, quickly tossing them into her bag as she rushed down behind Paul.

Abigail rushed them as she grabbed her coat, "hurry, hurry your dad is already in the car," she muttered as they rushed out.

Carter hooked her arm through Paul's as they walked into the Cullen's backyard, her mouth fell open as she looked at the decoration, the whole place seemed like it was straight out of the secret garden and she had no doubt that it was Alice who has arranged the whole thing.

Just as she was taking it all in, the said girl skipped over to them, a big smile on her face, "Carter! You made it!" she exclaimed as she grabbed her arms. Carter grinned widely, returning Alice's hug before she pulled away, the pixie gave Paul a short greeting before Carter grasped her forearm, "Alice the whole place looks amazing!" she exclaimed as Jasper walked over to them behind his mate.

Alice twisted one of her rings, "really, you don't think it's too much?" she asked and Carter frowned shaking her head, "not at all! It's perfect," she said as she locked her arm through Paul's, "I think we've found our wedding planner," she told her imprint with a big grin.

Paul seemed to freeze as he looked down at Carter, staring at her with wide, tender eyes. Carter didn't seem to notice as she greeted Jasper with a tight hug. Alice bit her lip to stop herself from grinning too wide as she looked between the couple. Paul continued to stare at her while Carter talked to Jasper, unaware of his staring.

He was snapped out of his trance once Jasper clapped him on his shoulder and Paul chuckled, "Hey, man, how you been?" he asked the vampire as they shook hands as if they were old buddies. Carter frowned, "since when are you two so close?" she asked them and both the boys gave her matching, wide grins.
