Savannah always slept until the afternoon. I didn't, I wanted to enjoy my time here in Monaco.I opened the fridge, looked in it. "Of course" I sighed. She literally had nothing.
Only a few bottles of vodka, orange juice and milk.
I grabbed the milk out of the fridge, opened it and smelled it.
Yes definitely spoiled.
I threw the milk away and leaned against the counter. What did she eat? She literally had nothing here.
I put my shoes on, grabbed a cap that was laying in her living room and walked out of her apartment.
Even though I knew no one or nothing here, I decided to make a quick walk to the store.
If I could find one.
After a little walk, I finally found a store. I grabbed some eggs, bread. You know the basic things that people have in their fridge.
Except for my sister. Guess she just ordered whatever.
I grabbed my phone, wanted to call Sav to ask if she needed something, but just when I wanted to call her I bumped my cart into someone.
"Oh shit sorry, I didn't mean to-"
"Don't worry about it" he mumbled, grabbed his phone off the floor and looked back up at me.
It was the same guy Savannah was definitely trying to dance with, even if she didn't want to admit it.
He looked tired, had dark circles around his eyes, he must have had a rough night, even though he left the club pretty early.
"You're Savannah's friend, right?"
So he did notice her, did notice me.
"You can say that" I chuckled.
"I am Lando" he said as he put his phone away, I didn't even notice that I put my phone away already.
"Riley" I smiled.
"You're here on vacation?" He asked. "Yeah, I am staying with Savannah for a while, then I'm going back to work"
"Cool" he mumbled, grabbed some eggs and wanted to walk away.
"Do you maybe want to go out tonight?" I quickly asked. It came out so wrong.
He frowned. "You and me, you mean?"
"More like, you, me and a couple of friends? I heard the club is amazing on Fridays?"
And maybe he had some cute friends. He was pretty handsome himself, but I would never go there.
Savannah liked him so he was definitely off limits.
"Yeah it is, but I'm not really feel like going out" he smiled politely.
"Okay, no worries" I shrugged. "Have a good night then"
"You too"
And we both went our separate ways again. I grabbed everything I needed and walked to the cashier.
Lando already left, only bought a couple of eggs and alcohol. Weird kind combination but hey, I didn't judge.
"Lando already paid for everything" the man behind the counter said.
I frowned. "He paid for my stuff? Why?"
He shrugged.
"How did he even know how much my stuff would be?"
He sighed a little, he was bored of my questions. "He comes here a lot, he asked to charge your stuff on his card"
"Okay" I chuckled. Did he think I would need his money? Was every guy in Monaco like this?
I didn't need his money, didn't want his money.
First he rejected me and now he paid for my groceries?
What was his game here?
I grabbed my platinum card and tapped it on the counter. "Ring me up, I don't want him to pay for me"
"Uh okay then" he said as he grabbed my card.
I don't know what Sav saw in him, not at all.
