I woke up early the next day. I wanted to read the papers that Lando threw away last night.

He said it would be lies or fake documents, but what if they weren't?
And still, I wanted to know why she had the balls to come to his apartment to deliver these documents.

But unfortunately, Lando woke up early as well. He wanted to go wakeboarding with Max Verstappen and another friend.

He obviously wanted me to go as well, so that's what I did. I went with him, those documents unfortunately had to wait.

"So Francesca showed up to our place last night" Lando announced to Kelly and Max as we were sitting on the boat together.

They immediately looked at each other and back at Lando and me. "What did she want?" Max asked.

"She wanted to give some papers" Lando shrugged. "What kind of papers?" Max asked.

"We don't know because Lando didn't want to look at it" I said, raised my eyebrow at Lando. He just shrugged again.

"You don't want to know?" Kelly frowned, but it seemed as Max was on the same page as Lando. "I wouldn't want to know either, after all her lies"

"Exactly" Lando nodded. "We will talk about it later" he said as he looked at me.

I nodded, agreed with him. We should talk about it in private.

Lando and Max did some wakeboarding while Kelly and I did some sunbathing.

It was a perfect afternoon.

Lando sat down next to me after he was done with wakeboarding. His hair was still wet, drops of water were still on his chest.

And fuck he looked so hot.

"You want to see what's on those papers, baby?" He looked at me, already knew the answer to that as well.

I nodded. "Yes, I know you don't want to know, but maybe we should check"

"Francesca is a liar, a manipulator." He sighed. "She wants us to check it and have a fight about it, I just know it"

"Aren't we stronger than that?" I frowned. "I don't want a fight with you over her"

He sighed, laid down next to me on the lounger and pulled me on his body. "We are strong, but I just went through so much shit with her"

"But I am not her" I nudged him.

"That's exactly the point, I don't want to lose you, because you're too important, too special" he said softly, kissed the top of my head.

And I decided to drop the subject.

For now.

We spend an entire day on the boat, with Kelly and Max and it was already late when we arrived back home.

I showered while Lando worked out, and he was taking a shower right now.

So I was standing alone in his living room right now.

I had the documents in my hand. Fair enough that Lando didn't want to check them, but I did.

I had to know or I would worry constantly.

I scanned through them, as fast as I could.

Lando was wrong, we wouldn't have a fight over this, but if this was true, then our lives would never be the same again.

If this was true, then both of us needed to rethink this relationship.

But Lando didn't seem to believe in her, thought that everything she said was a lie.

So maybe I shouldn't be worried about it.

"Baby? Are you comin-" Lando walked in the living room, looked at me and his eyes immediately looked down to the papers in my hand.

"You read them" He sighed a little, but still smiled. "Tell me what's in them"
