I flew back to London after the race weekend. I didn't want to, but I had to confront my dad.

Savannah flew over as well. She didn't really want to come, but I kinda forced her.

"So what is the plan exactly?" She asked, sighed a little as we walked in the building of our company.

"Kick our dad out, I am sure you read the many articles?"

"I did" she nodded. "And you believe that?"

"Yes I do Savannah, I caught him once"

She stopped walking, looked at me with a blank stare. "Fuck" she mumbled. "Okay we are definitely gonna kick him out"

And that's exactly what we did. Not that it took a lot of effort because he was already packing his stuff.

Not because he wanted to, not because he felt bad, but he felt as if he had to.

Yes he definitely had to.

"So what now?" Savannah asked as she walked through his office. His empty office.

"Now, we will have a meeting with the board and convince them that you are gonna take over"

"Me? No, I don't want that"

"You have to Sav, who else is gonna take over?"

"Well.. you" she shrugged. "You're far more capable of doing that"

Okay, I actually never expected her to actually say this. Caught me a bit off guard.

"Okay, then we will have to convince them to let me take over"

She nodded in agreement.

But I had no idea how I was gonna do that. Being CEO of a company was something completely different than what I did before.

That was something to worry about tomorrow though. I was going home for now, I was so drained, I had to take a rest.

Savannah joined me. She didn't have a place in London and she obviously didn't want to stay with our dad and mom.

Surprisingly, my mom didn't want to separate from my dad.
She said she didn't believe the stories even after I told her they were true.

It's not that's she didn't believe the stories, she knew he cheated, used them.
She just likes his money.

That's why she stayed.

Unbelievable.

"So I saw the pictures" Savannah shook me out of my thoughts, laid down on my couch. "I thought Lando and you weren't serious and now you're walking hand in hand through the paddock"

Fuck, with everything going on, I forgot that Sav didn't know about Lando and I.

"Yeah, but that's over now" I grabbed two glasses of Martini, her favorite drink, and sat down next to her.

"Why?"

"Because I have so much stuff going on with dad and the company"

And because we weren't a thing for real. Or maybe we were?
We definitely weren't faking anymore at the end of the weekend.

He wasn't, I could see it in the way he looked at me.

I wasn't either, I could feel it in the way my heart skipped beats when I looked at him.

"So what?" She frowned. "You have a lot going on and so does he, it makes you stronger together"

Maybe she was right.

"So you wouldn't mind if him and I started dating?"

"No" she raised her eyebrow and smiled. "I may have liked him before, but I like you way more and I want you to be happy"

"He kinda makes me happy yeah"

"I know" she smiled. "I could see that even on pictures"

I wrapped my arms around her. I was happy that she was my sister. She definitely matured.

"But if he hurts you, I'll definitely cut his balls off" she said as we hugged.

We both started laughing.

Oh she would definitely do that.
