I woke up alone the next day. Without Lando, without little Jack.

I honestly don't know how I got back to Lando's place yesterday. Why did I even go to his place after he literally left me for Francesca?

It was already noon. I never slept that late. Guess I really needed it.

I got up, showered, brushed my teeth and got dressed.

I definitely planned on going back to London today, but I needed to eat something first, I was starving.

I walked to the kitchen, Jack immediately ran up to me, his tail wiggling as fast as he could.

I kneeled down, patted him for a little while. "Let's go eat" I said as I got back up and walked in the kitchen.

"Good morning sunshine" Lando smiled at me, he was casually sitting on the kitchen counter, as if nothing happened.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, confused, maybe a bit mad too.

"I-uh-wanted to make some lunch but our fridge is pretty empty" he shrugged, looked back at his phone. "Guess we should go to the store"

I chuckled sarcastically. "You have some nerve, don't you?"

"Uh-okay? We can also go out to grab lunch if you prefer that"

I frowned at him. "Why are you here? Why do you want to go to lunch with me?"

"Because I live here and you're my girlfriend?" He tilted his head. "You should never sleep in anymore, seems like you lost your braincells"

He chuckled, put his phone on the counter and frowned as he saw how confused I was. "What's going on?"

Was I going insane? Did I all imagine it?

"What happened last night?" I asked.

"We went to dinner with Max and Xanthi, we left pretty early because you were tired, we went back home and you almost instantly fell asleep"

I sighed, relieved but it seemed so real. I couldn't even look at him properly because I could still see the look on his face from my nightmare.

"I had a nightmare about you, asshole" I rolled my eyes.

"Wait, are you mad because of something I did in your nightmare?" He chuckled a little but quickly stopped when he saw I wasn't laughing.

He turned serious again, just a bit though because I could still see the smile on his face. "What did nightmare Lando do?"

"Nightmare Lando left me for nightmare Francesca"

"Now that's definitely a nightmare" he chuckled, walked closer to me and put his hands on either sides of my hips. "I would never ever leave you"

"Promise?"

He put his hand under my chin, made me look up, in his eyes. "I would be insane to do so, you're not getting rid of me, I promise"

I put my head against his chest. I've never been so relieved. He was still mine, he didn't leave.

But I had to do something about Francesca, this nightmare was definitely a warning.

She was gonna show up again, I was sure about that.

I trusted Lando but I definitely didn't trust Francesca. She would always find a reason to come back in Lando's life.

She would come back, mess with our relationship and Lando's head a bit, which will cause doubts in our heads.

And that circle would continue, over and over again.

I had to break it.
