I didn't stay at Lando's apartment after we had sex. I didn't want to sleep next to him again.

We had dinner with his friends, had sex, I showered and I left.

Pretty weird but it worked for us.

It was already late when I returned back to Savannah's apartment and I knew she would be confused on where I was all evening.

I walked in, pretty quietly and fortunately it didn't seem as if she was still awake.

Thank God.

I made myself a martini, because that's the only drink she had at her place, I guess that's something Lando and her had in common.

I grabbed my glass, walked to the balcony and sat down.

I sighed a little, it was nice to finally enjoy the silen-

"Hi Riley" Savannah said as she walked on the balcony.

Fuck, she was still awake and judging by the look on her face, she waited for me to go to bed.

"Oh hi Savannah, still awake?"

"Yeah I was kinda worried about you" she said as she sat down. "You weren't picking up your phone"

I didn't even hear my phone. I was probably too busy having sex.

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't hear my phone"

"Hmm" she mumbled. "Where were you?"

"Well, you told me to get loose, so that's exactly what I did"

She smiled a little. "You were with a guy?"

I nodded.

"Who? What's his name?" She sounded exited about this.

But how could I tell her that I was actually messing around with the guy she likes? Or liked?

Would she be bothered about this?

She was kissing another guy in the club, so maybe she was over him. Didn't like him that much?

Whatever, I had to be honest about this.

"Lando" I quickly said.

Her face dropped, the smile on her face disappeared. Guess I was wrong, guess she wasn't over him at all.

"Are you serious? You were with Lando? Lando Norris?"

I nodded again. "Yeah"

"So what? You like him? Do you even realize what kind of guy he is?"

"It's not like tha-"

"He got in such a mess with his ex girlfriend" she interrupted me. "She completely messed with his head"

"What happened then?" I asked. I thought he was still in love with his ex, but I didn't expect him to be completely heartbroken about her.

"She cheated, lied, fucked him over so badly" she shrugged. "Honestly, he's a mess and you better stay away from him"

"Why? Because he is heartbroken?"

"No Riley, because he's a mess and he will break you heart" she said in a soft voice.

As if he broke her heart as well.

"Wait, did you and him-"

She was already shaking her head. "No we never did anything"

"Don't worry Sav, he's not gonna break my heart because I don't like him, we're just having sex"

"You had sex with him?" She frowned, looked a bit mad even.

"Uh yeah" I mumbled. I was definitely gonna leave out the fact that we had sex more than once now.

She chuckled, shook her head and looked away.

A few minutes later, she went back inside, straight to her room. Didn't say another word.

Yes she was definitely bothered by this. Even though I didn't really understood why.

She said they never were together or did anything, so it's not like I fucked her ex?

But it definitely was time to return back to London. I couldn't stay at her place anymore and I definitely had to go back to work.

So tomorrow, I was gonna pack my bags and fly back.

I don't know where Lando's next race was, but I also had to prepare for that.

We only had to pretend for one race and then we would be done with this.
