~Thirty-eight~

Enid's POV:

I've been trying to get Wednesday to tell me what she saw for the past hour now, but whenever she even gets close to saying anything she stops. 

"Please baby, I promise you'll feel better once you tell me." I mumbled, while trailing my fingers down her spine. 
My chin is on the top of her head, and her body is curled up beside mine. 

"I can't Enid," she answered, before burying her face deeper In my chest.

"Is It that bad?" I questioned softly, as my hand made its way to the back of her head, now playing with her hair. 

"You could say that," 

"Wednesday, you and I both have been through hell and back. Just please tell me?" I asked one more time, hoping this time to persuade her into telling me. 
She sniffled, before sitting up to look me in the eyes.

"beaticekidnappedevelynasrevengeformekillingbianca." she rushed out, now messing with her slender fingers in her lap.

"I'm going to need you to say that again, but a bit slower. Okay? But your doing really good," I said, hoping and praying she's not going to back out now.

"Beatrice Kidnapped Evelyn as revenge for me murdering Bianca." she mumbled, as more tears started to fall from her chocolate eyes. 
My heart dropped, before reaching out to pull her back into my arms. 

"It's not real, love. Evelyn's fine. Everything's fine." I cooed, trying to get her to calm down again. 

"Enid," she softly said, with a guilty look plastered on her face.

"What is it?" 

"My mother....lied to you. My vision was... Me seeing the future. Not my greatest fears. She knew what was happening, but didn't want to worry you..." 

"What...?"

"Our future is Evelyn being taken, and no matter how much we fight against it. It's going to happen." now I'm the one crying.

"So your saying that's set in stone? There's no way we can prevent that from happening." she stood up from the bed and walked over to her desk, before pulling out a large black book. 

"That's the thing... I don't know." 

Wednesday's POV:

I flipped through a bunch of pages before reaching what I was looking for. 
How to change your future.

"What do you mean?" she asked, while getting up to stand behind me. 

"I mean, the future isn't mine to change. If it was me being taken and I got the vision of me I could easily change that, but Evelyn hasn't got any visions yet. I can't control her future and mine." 

"What if... she doesn't get visions at all? What if she's only werewolf?" 

"I don't know," 

"Can we trigger her visions early? How would we know if she had one and just hadn't told us?" she started rambling.

"Enid!" I snapped, while standing up to grab her shoulders. Stopping her from pacing. "I will figure this out, you on the other hand need to calm down. Got it?"

"Mhm," 

"Good, now why don't you go find Evie so I can talk to her." 

"Okay," she answered, before walking out of the room. Soon after I heard soft pattering on my desk. 

"What is it thing?" I questioned, while throwing myself back down on the chair. 
I impatiently waited for him to finish what he was 'saying' before responding. "I'm not asking my grandmother for help thing." he started fastly signing things again, and I swear I'm about to chuck him out the window. 

"No, I don't want my child to be harmed Thing. That's an idiotic thing to ask." I answered, as I shoved the hand out of my sight. 

"Wednesday," I glanced behind me to find Evelyn and Enid. If this was any other situation I would probably softly smile, or get up to greet them. But right now, I just want this done and over with. 

"Hello, angel." 

"Hi Mummy, you needed me?"

"Yes, I need to talk with you about something very important, okay?" she nodded, but still had a confused look on her face.

"Am I in trouble?" she mumbled, I'm surprised she even knows what that means. She's never even been scolded before. 

"No, love." Enid answered, as she walked over to sit on the arm rest of my chair. 

"But you will be if you don't listen to what I'm about to tell you,"
