Enid's POV:
"Yoko, what the hell just happened?!" I asked, as I pulled myself out of her grip.
"I'll explain on the way," she mumbled, while sending Divina a glance.
"Come on dear, we'll have lurch drive you there." I nodded as I followed after Morticia.
I may have gotten out easily when I was in this position, but for some reason I feel like Wednesday isn't going to have the same luck.
Wednesday's POV:
" I knew something not so legal was going on within those ivory covered walls, but I finally had the chance to put you behind for it when one of your own students came and told on you."
"I'm an Addams, nothing I do is legal." I muttered, as I stared at the floor.
"Clearly,"
"How about your son? Did he tell you about shooting Enid in the chest and almost killing her?"
"What?"
"Oh, so you don't know. Interesting." he stopped the car in front of the police station, and pulled me out of the backseat.
"Don't expect to be out of here in an hour, you already have multiple offenses, which means we have the option to not post your bail. And you could end up in prison, where you belong."
"Wasn't planning on it," I answered, as I watched my families car pull up behind his. He pushed me inside of the building before anyone could get out of the car, but I still heard Enid's familiar voice making a protest to something someone told her.
I was shoved into one of the cells, and my hands were uncuffed. How exciting.
"Oh my little viper," my dad mumbled, as the group walked into the room.
"Addams, I'll have to speak with you in my office. Visiting hours are over." sheriff Galphin muttered, while leading them into the small inclosed room. Though Enid, stayed behind. Apparently they aren't over for her.
"Wednesday."
"Yes?"
"What the hell were you thinking?!"
"I- I wasn't thinking." I mumbled.
"Right, because you never fucking do!" She yelled, while placing her hand on her forehead.
"Amo-" I started, before she cut me off.
"Don't Wednesday,"
"I was trying to protect you!"
"Yeah, by killing one of my best friends. I get she supposedly kidnapped me, but you weren't there when she explained why. You don't even know what happened, Wednesday."
"Enid, it seems your brains clouded, so let me remind you that she tried to kill you. I don't understand why your upset at me when I did something to prevent anything from ever happening to you again."
"I'm mad because you didn't tell me, Wednesday, and you decided to continue with your little fantasy and your selfish antics."
"You just woke up! I'm sorry I wanted to spend time with you over you being all mopy about someone that didn't even care about you. Also I am not selfish, and the fact that you think that is concerning."
"Yeah, okay."
"Enid."
"What?"
"Breathe," I mumbled, as I walked to stand in front of the bars.
"What?" she asked again.
"I know your upset, and you have every right to be, but please don't say anything you know your going to regret in the morning. I know that in the back of your mind you know I only did this for you, and that I would never do something that would potentially harm you."
"I know," she mumbled, "But I'm still beyond pissed, and nothing you say right now is going to change that."
"Go home,"
"Why?" she questioned, while crossing her arms over her chest.
"Sleep on it, if your still mad in the morning I'll stop trying to reason with you about it, and I'll take whatever punishment you feel is fit. From wearing pink for a week, to no sleeping together for a week. I don't care. Just anything to make sure your not mad at me anymore."
"Okay," she answered, before walking out. Slamming the door behind her.
Not long after a voice came into play, at first I thought it was my ancestors coming to mock me, but unfortunately it was just Yoko.
"What Yoko?"
"I'm on your side,"
"What?" I asked, now turning to face the pale faced girl.
"Yes, she has the right to be mad, but you did too. You also had the right to protect her, and I think you did the right thing." she explained, giving me a slight wave of relief.
"At least someone does,"
"Div does too, and she said she would talk to Enid for you."
"Thank you Yoko," I mumbled, as I went to go sit on the bench in the corner of my cell.
"I don't know why she blew up like that, she probably didn't mean what she said. She's just mad, and confused. I don't know why she expects you to know anything about what happened, when she barely remembers anything herself." she rambled.
"Mmm," I hummed, while watching my feet swing.
"I should stop taking now," I nodded, as she smiled.
My attention was caught by the door to his 'office' swinging open.
"Wednesday dear, we're getting you a lawyer please don't fret we'll get you out soon."
"What nonsense are you talking about mother."
"Your not getting bail, based off of your record. Even though his son has an even lengthier one than you, but he's never served a day in a jail cell."
"Where are they sending me?" I mumbled, the only thing- well person on my mind being Enid.
"Wedne-"
"Where?"
"Louisiana State Penitentiary," she mumbled, as she averted her glance to the floor.
"You've got to be fucking kidding me."
"I'm afraid they're not Addams, you'll be leaving in the morning. And your court date will be set soon after."
"You had to choose somewhere 20 hours from here?!" I exclaimed, before I was just mad, now I'm pissed.
"They were the only ones with an opening for max security."
"I bet it was," I answered, sarcastically.
"Wednesday,"
"What Yoko?" I snapped.
"Do you want me to..." she trailed off, I know where that statement was going though.
"No, I get one call right?" I asked, directed at sheriff Galphin.
"Yes,"
"Then in the morning, I'll call her."
