Enid's POV:

"My legs hurt," I whined, as I slowly got out of the car.

"Stop whining amore, your going to rub off on Evelyn. We just got her out of that faze."

"I'm an adult, I'm allowed to express my feelings." I countered, as I opened Evie's car door.

"Barely." Wednesday mumbled, as she pulled our suitcase out from the trunk.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I questioned, as I pulled Evie out of her car seat.

"You just turned twenty, only a few months ago you were still a teenager." she explained, while offering to take the child from my arms.

"You do realize, that you're still a teenager Wednesday." I said, while raising one of my eyebrows.

"I'm aware, though I'm not the one that stated I was an adult."

"But I am an adult." I protested, as I handed Evelyn to her.

"Yes, but you don't always act like one. That's all I was trying to say."

"Whatever."

"Don't get gloomy now, we still have to deal with my grandmother."

"Your grandmother is the least of my worries."

"Your worried?" She asked, as we walked up to the front door.

"Just a little,"

"What about?" she asked, while placing her key in the lock on the front door.

"I'm not entirely sure, something just seems off." I mumbled, as she pushed the door open.
Just smile Enid, everything will be fine.

Wednesday's POV:

"My little storm cloud!" My father exclaimed, as the family moved from the kitchen to the entryway.

"Father I suggest you bring your voice down before I rip out your vocal cords."

"Very well dear, we wouldn't want to wake the child."

"Lurch take our bags to my room." I ordered to the half dead man.

"Please," Enid mumbled, as she handed one of the bags to him.

"Enid! It is lovely seeing you again. How many years has it been?" my grandmother asked, as she came to stand in front of the both of us.
I already have a migraine.

"I think four years," Enid answered, as she placed her hand on my lower back, keeping me from walking away.

"Yes, that's it. In those four years you two were able to create another Addams. How exciting."

"Mother please don't say it like that, you make it sound very scandalous."

"I'm just saying it how it is." Here they go, they can never be in the same room together without bickering.

"I suggest you do whatever you were planning on now, because if not I'm taking her upstairs." I said, while eyeing both of them.

"I've decided I'm going to stay for dinner, so you can go. Besides, I want her to be awake when she meets me for the first time." I glanced over at Enid, before walking past my mother to the stairs.
Soon after I heard Enid's footsteps behind mine, she's lucky my grandmother didn't rope her into anything else.

"See, it wasn't that bad." She mumbled, while watching me lay Evelyn down on our bed.

"I still want to know what feels off to you," I said, while turning around to face her.
She softly smiled, as she walked up to me. Placing her hands on my waist.

"Nothing, everything's fine."

"Are you sure, because we could pack everything back up and go home."

"Positive. Besides, it's been four years since you've celebrated your birthday with your family. I don't want to take that from them." I sighed, before stepping away from her.

"Promise me that if you feel uncomfortable or off again you'll tell me?"

"Promise," she mumbled, as her eyes glanced around my face, and chest.... Oh?

"What is it?" I asked, while grabbing her chin to grab her attention.

"Can you put Evelyn in her room?"

"Why?" I asked, while glancing up and her through my eyelashes. A smirk very evident on my face.

"Wednesday." she said, while glaring at me. There was a glint in her eyes, that told me everything that's going on in her mind.
Odd, this hasn't happened since she had Evelyn... I thought...

"Is there anything you need to tell me mi vida?" I asked, my hands now placing themselves around her waist.

"Yeah, take Evie to her room and you'll find out." I smirked, as I turned to grab Evelyn.
Her room is just across the hall, I don't know what difference it'll make. Her and I both know there isn't enough time for that.
I glanced back at Enid one more time before walking out the door, and into the room across the hall.

Enid's POV:

This week is going to be absolute hell.
