Wednesday's POV:

Right now Enid and I are on our way to Nevermore, conveniently enough we convinced The new principle to have a reunion with the students in our class. It was fairly easy, and although Enid's already told me I'm not allowed to kill anyone I know it's going to happen. Its either going to be Beatrice or some other unfortunate soul that gets in my way.
Yoko and Divina have Evelyn, so they won't be there. Ajax is dead, and so is Bianca. Tyler hasn't been seen in years, Kent will be there although I'm not really sure about how I feel about him. Realistically the only people we're going to see and talk to are Eugene, Xavier, and The four that I taught our senior year.

"Wenny?" mumbled Enid, while shifting from her seemingly uncomfortable position.

"Yes, amore?"

"How much longer until we make it to the hotel? I just want to call and talk to Evie, and then go to bed."

"Twenty minutes... Do you want to just call her now? It's going to be late by the time we get there." I answered, while glancing over at her.

"Sure," I watched out of the corner of my eye, as she pulled her phone out of her bag.

"Hey!" Yoko answered, making Enid's face light up.

"Hey! Is Evelyn still awake?"

"Yup, she was actually just about to go to bed. You called at the perfect time." she answered, before calling over the child.

"Hi Mama!"

"Hello angel, how was your day?"

"It was lovely! I finished reading my Enola Holmes series today, and then we went to the park.... Is mommy there?" she asked, after rambling. I knew she was going to ask for me, as much as we both want to deny it. Evelyn is most definitely a mommy's girl.

"Mhm! Here," she mumbled, while setting the phone up on the center console so she could see the both of us.

"Hello Mi hija," I greeted, keeping my eyes glued to the road.

"Hi Mommy! How much longer until you get there?" she asked, while toying with a strand of her hair.

"Approximately seventeen minutes."

"Can we stay on the phone until you get there?" I glanced over at Enid, waiting for her response, before looking back at the phone.

"Yes, just as long as Yoko and Divina are okay with it." Enid replied, as she messed with the ring on my finger.

"Yay!" she exclaimed, before continuing with her rambling. "At the park, Yoko showed us how she can turn into a bat! Most of the kids were scared, and they ran away. But there was one named Ruby, and she was so amazing!" I glanced down at the phone to see the bright smile on my daughters face.

"It seems like you had a lot of fun," Enid commented, as a wide smile stretched across her face as well.

"When you get home could we go play with Ruby again? Pleaseeee?" Evelyn begged, as her chocolate brown eyes grew bigger.

"We don't know when she'll be at the park, so how will we know when to go?"

"Yoko got her Mom's phone number!" She cheerfully said, a look of utter happiness on her face.

"Well isn't the convenient," I muttered, while averting my eyes back to the road.

"Wednesday," Enid warned, while glaring over at me. "She's finally made a friend, you should be happy, besides Ruby can't be that bad if Yoko approves."

"I suppose..."

"Wednesday, this girl is actually so adorable. And her and Evelyn are almost one in the same. They are both like crazy smart, and gratuitously morbid. Also she has this perfect light brown hair, and like crazily bright blue eyes."

"She sounds great!" Enid said, while grabbing her phone from the console. "Could you tell me her mom's number? I'm going to put it in my phone for later."

"Sure it's 925-715-6537,"

"Thanks!.... We should get going now, we're almost at the hotel and I'm super tired."

"Well I hope you sleep well, Please keep me updated. And Wednesday please don't do anything stupid, your daughter needs you home in one piece."

"I'll try," I replied, making Yoko smile.

"Goodnight guys,"

"Goodnight Yolks!"
