Amelia walked into the mission room with Conner, M'gann and Wolf to find Kaldur and Robin in training. Conner and M'gann walked towards a corner while Amelia walked towards the pair who had stopped their training.
"You know they're a couple, right?" Robin whispered to them both.
"I believe I knew before they did." Kaldur responded.
"True to that." Amelia added.
They looked towards the other room to spot Wally and Artemis walking towards the mission room.
"Do we tell them?" Robin asked.
"It is not our place." Kaldur responded.
"Plus, it's way more fun when they figure it out." Amelia added, nudging the Boy Wonder to which he winced.
"So if Zatara is our babysitter of the week, why is he still here?" Wally asked, pointing towards Captain Marvel. "And why is he eating my snacks?"
"RECOGNIZED—BATMAN, 0-2." The computer sounded as the zeta-tube powered up.
"Computer, national news." Batman ordered, walking towards the center of the room.
The holographic screen lit up and showed the news currently being reported. "The initial attack was short-lived but Metropolis was only granted a short reprieve." The reporter began as giant green plants wrapped onto the tall buildings of Metropolis.
"And despite the intervention of Superman and the Justice League, there seems to be no end in sight." The video switched towards Superman saving civilians trapped on the rooftop while Hawkwoman hit the plants with her mace.
"Should we get out there?" Robin asked.
"No. The League will soon have the situation under control." Batman answered. "That's not why I'm here. According to your intel, Sportsmaster supplied Cadmus' Blockbuster formula to Kobra."
"Who combined it with Bane's venom to create Kobra-Venom." Wally added.
"Which the Brain used to create his animal army." Robin also added.
"And upgrade Wolf." Superboy said, scratching Wolf's chin.
"The Brain also used inhibitor collars like the ones at Belle Reve Penitentiary." M'gann responded.
"But instead of dampening the powers, it was used for controlling and discipline." Amelia added.
"Batman, is it possible that plant thingy's on Kobra-Venom too?" Artemis asked.
"I had Green Lantern run a spot analysis." Batman revealed. "Divine cellulose does contain trace amounts of Kobra-Venom variant."
"These cannot be coincidences. Unrelated criminals are cooperating with one another worldwide." Kaldur suggested.
"Exactly." Batman responded. "It's now clear our enemies have formed some kind of Secret Society of Supervillains." He theorized. "The attack on Metropolis is only the beginning."
