The Team watched as the Justice League got disintegrated on the screen in front of their eyes. Not long after, a transmission request appeared on the other screen.
Red Tornado accepted the transmission and the screen showed Zatara. "Tornado, did you—"
"Yes, Zatara. We saw." Red Tornado responded before Zatara could finish. "Celestial defenses have failed. Initiate all terrestrial measures."
"Affirmative. See you in the field." Zatara replied before the transmission was finished.
Red Tornado turned to look at the Team. "I must join the League." He declared. "We will protect the planet at all costs. But should we fail, this responsibility falls to you."
Aqualad glanced around for a few moments before responding. "We stand ready."

The Team watched the news as more and more Justice Leaguers got disintegrated on screen but they hardly grieved at the sight of it. Suddenly, they get a transmission from Red Tornado.
"Red Tornado to Cave. I fear I am all that remains of the League." He stated.
"R.T.?" Robin asked but he got no response and this indicated that all members of the League were dead.
"We are Earth's heroes now." Aqualad declared.
"So, what are we waiting for? A theme song?" Superboy questioned.
"No. We're figuring out a plan and strategy." Aero corrected. "We know that Earth's weapons are ineffective, and it has been made clear that a direct attack will not work."
"Checking satellite imagery." Robin declared as he tapped on his wrist computer.
The holo-map appeared in front of them and it showed the alien ships as red dots on it. "Here's where the aliens are now." Robin showed.
"This one get lost?" Superboy asked, pointing to the one at the Arctic.
The holo-map moved downwards to get a better view on which dot Superboy was pointing towards. "It's Superman Fortress of Solitude." Robin declared.
"Superman has a Fortress of Solitude?" Aero and Superboy asked in unison.
"It's power source must have attracted the aliens' attention." Robin suggested. "At least enough to send a scout ship to investigate."
"Must be some fortress." Superboy mumbled in frustration.
"Conner."
"No, it's okay." Superboy cut M'gann off. "I guess there's a lot about Superman I'll never know. Uh, you know, now."
"We will target this lone ship." Aqualad commanded.
"Yeah. Break it down. Build more. Hit those ugly aliens with their own mojo." Kid Flash declared before wincing as Artemis elbowed him.
"Martian, Kryptonian and Kaloerean in the house." Artemis reminded as Kid Flash looked at the three of them staring at him.
"Uh, heh, not that all aliens are automatically ugly." Kid Flash corrected.
