"We have reason to feel proud of yesterday's victories. But one thing has not changed." Aqualad stated as the Team walked into the mission room.
"Somehow the bad guys are still getting inside intel about us." Robin added.
"Yeah, but at least we know none of us are the mole." Kid Flash concluded.
"That's correct." Batman stated before showing a profile of Red Arrow on the screen. "The mole was Red Arrow."
"Roy?"
"No way!"
"As much as I hate the guy, but there's no way he's the mole!"
"Batman, that cannot be. He was Green Arrow's protegé. We have all known him for years." Aqualad protested.
"Unfortunately, the Roy Harper we have known for the last three years is another Project Cadmus clone." Red Tornado's robot voice stated.
"We've learned the real Speedy was abducted and replaced immediately after becoming Green Arrow's sidekick." Batman continued, pulling up Roy's profile as Speedy. "The clone was pre-programmed with a drive to join the Justice League which is why he was so angry over any delays to his admission and why he refused to join the Team. This Roy Harper had no idea he was a clone or a traitor. And his subconscious programming drove him to become League worthy. So he struck out on his own as Red Arrow. When he was finally admitted, his secondary programming kicked in and he attempted to betray the League to Vandal Savage. Fortunately, I had already deduced Red Arrow was a clone. We were prepared."
"Savage was subdued but Red Arrow escaped." Red Tornado stated. "He is now a fugitive, armed and dangerous."
"If you guys hadn't rescued me from Cadmus." Superboy stated, rubbing the back of his neck.
"What, what happened to the real Roy?" Robin asked.
"We don't know. He isn't at Cadmus. We have to face the possibility that the real Roy Harper is dead." Batman concluded.
The Team looked down at the last sentence Batman gave, possibly that the real Roy was dead. Aero placed a hand on Robin's shoulder to silently comfort him.
"The clone Roy, the Team will find him." Aqualad declared.
"Negative. Red Arrow's a member of the Justice League now. Leave him to us." Batman ordered before pressing his comm. "I'm needed on the Watchtower. Tornado, stay with the kids."
Aero narrowed her eyes on the last word Batman blurted out, suspecting something may be up. Batman then walked towards the Zeta-Tube and teleported to the Watchtower.
"Clone or no clone, Red Arrow was one of us." Aqualad stated in the link. "We will go after him."
Red Tornado walked up towards Aqualad from behind but he was suddenly stopped and shut down. The Team quickly walked forward towards the robot to check on him.
"R.T.!" Aero yelled in the link.
"Tornado!" Miss Martian gasped.
