A/N: I will be skipping on how Amelia gets her heat vision because I'm literally out of ideas on how she's going to get them. So yeah, toodles✌️
MOUNT JUSTICE
NOVEMBER 11, 16:05 EST
Amelia flew up with the big banner with the text in all capital letters, 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY.' She managed to hang the banner up and flew back down to see the positioning of the banner.
"Does it look crooked to you?" Amelia asked Zatanna, raising an eyebrow at the banner.
Zatanna chanted a spell onto the candles that were on the cake before looking towards the banner. "I think it's all right." She said, shrugging slightly.
"If you say so." Amelia responded, putting the rest of the cake on a tray and putting it on the coffee table that is in front of the couch.
"RECOGNIZED: KID FLASH, B-0-3." The computer announced. "ZETA 2 NETWORK NOW OFFLINE DUE TO EXTREME ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS."
"He's here!" Dick stated before signaling Aqualad to turn off the light in the kitchen-living room.
The room went dark and they waited for Wally to enter. "Whoa. I just made it." Wally's voice came from the distance as he got closer. "Be a tragedy if I missed my own—"
He got cut off as the lights switched back on and everyone shouted. "Surprise!"
"What!" Wally said in a faking shock expression. "Oh, you guys! You shouldn't have."
"Right, not like you've been hinting for days or anything." Dick countered with arms crossed.
"We made two cakes." M'gann stated as Wally put on a birthday hat and sat in front of the cake.
"Awesome." He exclaimed. "What will you guys eat?"
"We'll split the cupcake. Make a wish." M'gann replied.
"Way ahead of you." Wally flirted before blowing out the candles.
Everyone then applauded him and wished him happy birthday. "You know, if I tell you my wish, it won't come true." He said teasingly. "But if you guess..."
M'gann cut a piece of cake onto a plate and handed it to Wally. "Nope. Guess again." M'gann then gave him a kiss on top of his forehead which caused him to gasp slightly.
"Happy birthday." She wished before Wally sighed.
Everyone then grabbed a piece of cake or a cup of drink and chatted around. Amelia saw Zatanna wasn't doing anything so she grabbed two plates of cakes and walked over to her.
She handed a plate towards Zatanna. "I figure if you're not chatting but at least have some cake. Everyone's gotta keep their energy and hunger level in check somehow." She said, trying to make small talk.
Dick then walked over to her and asked. "You settling in here okay?"
"Oh, yeah. Just like home." She said with a hint of bitterness as she accepted a plate of cake from Amelia.
"We know this is all very new and intimidating, but I promise you, someday..." Amelia and Dick turned towards Wally as he stuffed a big piece of cake onto his mouth, making a slight mess. "You'll get used to watching Wally eat."
