AUTHOR'S POV-

The morning sun filtered softly through the curtains of their shared apartment, casting a gentle warmth over YN and RM as they lay entwined in each other's arms. The weight of their shared past had lightened, leaving them with a deep sense of peace and fulfilment and in this moment, nothing else mattered but the two of them.

YN stirred slightly with her eyes fluttering opening to find RM, already awake, his gaze fixed on her with a tender intensity that made her heart skip a bit. His fingers traced a delicate pattern on her bare skin, sending shivers down to her spine.

"Good morning, beautiful." He whispered, his voice husky and filled with remnants of sleep.

"Good morning," YN replied softly, her voice bare above a whisper. She leaned in her lips brushing over him in a slow lingering kiss that deepened as RM pulled her closer, their bodies pressing together in a way that felt as natural as breathing.

As their lips parted, RM's eyes darkened with desire, his hands sliding down to rest in her naked hip, holding her in place as he gazed into her eyes. "I don't think I'll ever get used to waking up next to you," he murmured, his eyes grazing on her naked body.

“How did you sleep?”“Better than I have in a long time,” RM said, his fingers tracing lazy patterns on her back. “I think it’s because I know that no matter what happens, you’re right here with me.”

YN’s heart melted at his words, and she couldn’t resist kissing him again, this time more deeply, savouring the warmth and love that radiated from him. “I’ll always be here with you,” she whispered against his lips. “I’ve waited too long to find you again to ever let you go.”

RM’s arms tightened around her, his lips curving into a smile against hers. “And I’ll never let you go either.”

As they lay there, wrapped up in each other, YN couldn’t help but think about how far they had come. From the moment they first met in this life, there had always been something pulling them together, a force stronger than either of them could explain. Now, they knew it was the bond of their past lives, a love that had endured across time and space.

“I was thinking,” RM said after a while, his voice thoughtful. “Maybe we should go somewhere, just the two of us. Take a trip, get away from everything for a while.”

YN’s eyes lit up at the idea. “Where did you have in mind?”

“I don’t know,” RM admitted with a grin. “Somewhere quiet, where we can just be together. Maybe by the sea? Or up in the mountains?”

“The sea sounds perfect,” YN said, her mind already drifting to thoughts of sandy beaches and sunsets over the water. “I can’t think of anything better than spending time with you there.”

“Then it’s settled,” RM said, his voice filled with excitement. “We’ll pack up and go. No distractions, no worries. Just us.”

YN’s smile widened as she snuggled closer to him. “I can’t wait.”They spent the morning planning their trip, laughing and teasing each other as they debated over which destination to choose. It felt like a new chapter in their lives, one that they were writing together, filled with love, adventure, and the promise of endless possibilities.

Later that evening, as they watched the sunset from their balcony, RM wrapped his arms around YN from behind, holding her close as they gazed at the horizon. The sky was a canvas of vibrant colours, the sun dipping low and casting a golden glow over the city.

“You know,” RM began, his voice soft and contemplative, “I used to wonder what it would feel like to have everything I ever wanted. And now, standing here with you… I think I finally know.”

YN turned in his arms, looking up at him with love shining in her eyes. “What does it feel like?”

“It feels like this,” RM said, leaning down to kiss her, his lips gentle but full of emotion. “Like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. Like I’ve found my home.”

YN’s heart soared at his words, and she kissed him back, pouring all of her love into that one kiss. When they finally pulled apart, she rested her head against his chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart.

“I feel the same way,” YN whispered. “With you, I’ve found everything I was looking for. I’m home.”

RM smiled, his hand caressing her hair as they stood together, watching the last rays of the sun disappear beneath the horizon. The night sky began to twinkle with stars, each one a reminder of the countless lifetimes they had spent searching for each other.

But now, in this life, they had found one another, and nothing would ever tear them apart again.

As they held each other close, YN knew that their love was timeless, transcending the boundaries of time and space. They had been given a second chance, and they were going to make the most of it building a future together, hand in hand, heart to heart.

"I love you, my Captain Kim." She laughs sweetly. "And, I love you too, my Doctor Lee." He smiles softly, pressing their forehead together and feeling each other close. No matter what, RM will stay by her side and so YN will. Their love, burning bright and eternal, forever and always.

In some other parts of the galaxy, there was one universe where they already met.

Without knowing that this already happened, that the teas they shed before was worth it, that their strings of fate were once again tied to each other.

—And that they have been loving.
