Backstory: Madelaine is the niece of famous actress Cate Blanchett. as a child Madelaine was very different from other girls her age as she was interested in playing video games and reading fanfics. This caused her to be bullied by some of her classmates who thought she was a nerd. for awhile it hurt but Madelaine eventually learned to ignore it. Madelaine did make some friends who shared the same interests as her and she started hanging out with them. during holidays Madelaine would go spend time with her aunt Cate and uncle Andrew along with her four cousins. whenever she would go out with her aunt to spend time with her the press would always take pictures of them putting Madelaine right in the spotlight. due to this the classmates who used to bully her would try to befriend her since she was technically famous but Madelaine rejected them since she wanted friends who liked her for herself and not just because she was an actress's niece. Madelaine was always encouraged to be herself and not let anyone tell her what she should be by her aunt Cate who supported her a lot.
