2 months. It's been 2 months without her Jasper.. without her mom. She missed them she had no family left now. Rick always told her there her family now all of them. She wanted to believe him she really did but every time she let herself get a little bit happy their faces would show up. She tried and tried to make them disappear but they would always be their as soon as she got even a little bit happy so she decided to ignore them. Her birthday pasted she didn't tell anyone she was now 11 years old.

Lilith sat in the middle of Carl and Sophia as rick drove Lori was in the passenger seat and carol was also squashed back in the back seat. The drive to what felt like nowhere was silent till Lori smiled and spoke up " I was just thinking about our trip to the Grand Canyon with Carl." Rick glanced at her and laughed. Carl peeked up a confused look on his face "I don't remember that." Lori shook her head " No, you wouldn't. You were just a baby. And besides, we never made it past Fort Worth. " As Lori spoke Lilith took a second to think back to the last time she travelled. It was a few summers ago her aunt Maggie Greene took her to a water park her other aunt Beth came she couldn't remember much but she remembered having so much fun and the disappointment she felt coming home to her mom.

" No, you got sick. I never knew a baby could throw up so much. " Rick laughed again. Carl and Lilith pulled a disgusted face " ick " Carl mutters under his breath Lilith nodding along. " Yeah, ick. The doctor in Texas said you'd live. Then we turned and drove home." Lori told Carl " that's sucks " Lilith slienty agreed with Carl imagine driving all the way only to drive back without seeing it. Lori only smiled " No, it was a good trip. " " The best " rick agreed. " Can we go see it? The grand canyon I'd like to. " Carl asks them. "I would too. Can we go?" As Sophia spoke Lilith could feel a lump in her throat they probably didn't even want her to come Carl probably Haters her and Sophia and her haven't talked since yesterday. " yea! And Lilith! " Carl added. She stopped her thinking looking over to Carl he wanted her to go? She obviously knew she was likable but everyone's at school used to call her name's and ignore her sure there was a few nice girls here and there but she could never find the courage to talk to them but with Carl it came easy like sleeping. Same with Sophia they were like her bestfriends. " We'd never go without you or your mom. Or Lilith That's a promise. " Rick promised as Lori reached out to grab carols hand.

The cars come to a stop at the blocked highway. The radiator hose on the rv has broke again. The tape breaking along with it. Lilith hops over a corpse covering her nose as she looks around the highway. Dale had told her not to wonder to far and to stay with someone so here she is with dayrl by her side as they look in cars. " did you know a crocodile can't stick out it's tounge? " Lilith stated. A glimpse of confusion crossed dayrls face " what are ya talking about girl? " She shrugs " they have a tounge but can't stick it out " dayrl glances at her he dosent say anything Leting out a grunt he opens a abandon car door " How'd ya even know that aren't you like 8? " She side eyes him as she hops into the front seat " I'm 11 " she grumbled opening the governer box " and I found it in a book from the CDC" she beamed proudly. Dayrl only gives her a grunt as he trys to look in " anything? " She shakes her head " nope just weird magazines" dayrl lets out a annoyed sigh " c'mon then get out " Lilith rolled her eyes hoping out of the car " okay jeez " she utters under he breath dayrl sending her a annoyed look.

Lilith skips next to dayrl making sure to keep her balance " could'ya stop that I can't focus " dayrl mutters. Lilith stoped in her step confused " ya not doing anything? " She was right dayrl was just pretending to look in cars not actually doing anything. Dayrl sent her another annoyed look only to freeze pulling his crossbow up. This time the look of confusion crossed Lilith's face she turned around only to freeze with him. She could see a herd atleast a hundred of walkers coming right down the highway. She could see Carl and Sophia crawling under a car carol and Lori under another one same with rick. She could feel dayrl grab her arm yanking her in the back seat of a near by car. The only sound she could hear was her's and dayrls breathing. His body covered her incase anything would happen to jump out on them. She closed her eyes covering her mouth waiting for them to pass.
