There are so many rules
We think we need to follow
Life becomes so robotic and scary
That I can't breathe and swallow
Some rules are necessary
Some are just so stupid
Some gives me freedom
Like I am in a dream so lucid
Some rules can make life easier
Some can make my life hell
Most people keep following them
Thinking their life will get well
Sometimes we should abandon them
Make new ones for us to live
Not every rule is good for us
They lie and pretend to give
Some die following the same dull rule
Not thinking and having an open mind
If they had questioned everything
They wouldn't have been so blind
