"Oh my gosh." Sherri gasped when she saw Tony with her sister in her arms.
"Do you mind?" Tony hissed.
Ariel was starting to get heavy and it didn't help that he had to park his car a block away and carry her down the road to the Holland's house so that her father wouldn't hear her engine.
Sherri wrapped her robe around her body and looked back to make sure her father wasn't anywhere to be seen.
Although with how much of a light sleeper he was, she didn't know how long this would last.
"Come in." She whispered ushering in Tony.
Tony adjusted Ariel in his arms and stepped over the threshold of the Holland house.
It smelt of peppermint and the polish Mr Holland used for his car.
Sherri kept a lookout as she gestured for Tony to follow her up the stairs.
Moving as quietly as they could, they made it to Ariel's room which was only separated by a bathroom from Sherri's.
Tony kicked away a plushie that was in his way knowing if Ariel was awake, she would yell his ear off as he made his way to her bed and set her down.
Ariel muttered something incoherent but otherwise she was still fast asleep.
Sherri moved over to take off her sister's shoes.
"Where the hell was she?" She hissed at Tony.
Tony couldn't hide his irritation.
This whole evening had been a mess with him trying to rescue Ariel from Bryce Walker's house. Freaking Justin Foley insisting on still playing dumb about his jackass friends.
And now Sherri doing the exact same thing."She's your sister Sher." He grumbled.
Sherri folded her arms across her chest.
She turned to him, offended.
"Sounds like you have something to say to me."
Tony dragged his hand over his face. It was late. His tank was almost empty and now he was freaking cold.
He did not have time for an argument with Sherri Holland.
"She was at Bryce's."
Sherri's eyes widened. "What the hell?"
She turned to her sister. "W-what was she doing there?"
"Beats me." Tony spoke begrudgingly. "But they must have put some sh*t in her drink because she could barely walk when Justin and I got there."
Sherri felt like her heart had dropped into her stomach.
"No one touched her." Tony spoke in a low voice. "We got there in time."
Relief washed over Sherri. She looked at Ariel, a curled strand of hair sticking to her cheek with her mouth slightly open.
"Sh*t." She muttered before letting out a sigh.
"Who was there with her? At Bryce's?"
"Bryce, Montgomery and... Diego." Tony didn't even want to go into details of what he had seen. It made him angry.
It all just made him furious when he thought about the tapes and what Hannah had described.
It was so f*cking messed up. And he couldn't believe any of the other people on the tapes couldn't see that.
Or at least they chose not to see that.
"I've known you since we were kids." He spoke calmly. "I've known both you and Ari since we were kids. This Hannah crap? It's messed up and you know it!"
