The first thing Ariel did when she got out of bed was rush to the bathroom and throw up her guts.
It didn't take long for the door that joined Sherri's room to hers to swung open.
Sherri raised her brows at her sister.
"You okay?"
Ariel sunk to the floor feeling like a pit had formed in her stomach.
"No." She whimpered.
Sherri frowned and walked over to kneel down in front of Ariel.
Ariel looked up at her and she felt tears in her eyes.
Sherri held her sister, squeezing her tight.
She wanted to go into a whole speech of 'I told you so's but Sherri didn't have the heart.
Her sister had been alone in Bryce Walker's house and if it hadn't been for Justin and Tony, she didn't even want to think about what could have happened.
"What happened, Ari?" She whispered.
Ariel pulled away from Sherri.
She wasn't feeling sick anymore but she had a dull headache and this drowsy feeling.
Whatever Bryce had given her definitely hadn't sat well with her.
Ariel had no doubt Tony had already explained everything. Even if some of it was kind of a blur, she remembered kissing Diego. She remembered him touching her, she remembered her shirt coming off and she had no idea why the hell she had even done that.
Such behaviour, it wasn't her. She didn't just make out with random boys and get half naked in front of them.
And oh gosh, she had been an uncontrollable mess and Tony had to help her dress up...
And Justin had shown up.
Ariel felt something heavy in her chest.
To 'save' her no doubt.
Acting like a hero inspite of everything.
Ariel shifted uncomfortably as she thought about how if Justin and Tony hadn't shown up, she probably would have made a huge mistake.
Even if she wanted to be mad at them, a part of her was grateful.
Sherri sighed. "This isn't you."
Ariel looked at her and found humour and sadness in her words. Then who the hell was she?
"Get ready. We have to get to school." Sherri spoke flippantly.
Ariel remained on the floor, hugging her knees to her chest.
"Seriously, Ari, dad's gonna get suspicious. And I can't keep covering for you." Sherri spoke impatiently.
Ariel looked up at her sister. "Okay." She spoke in a low voice.
She pushed herself to her feet.
"Just give me a sec, okay?"
Sherri tried to remain stern but she couldn't keep it up.
Especially with what happened last night. Not only with Clay. But with her sister being alone in Bryce Walker's house with all those guys.
"Ari, you can't hang out with Bryce and the guys alone. I already told you -"
"You already told me that I'm an idiot. I get it, Sher." Ariel huffed as she faced away from her. "Now will you give me a sec? I need to get ready."
Sherri didn't have anything else to say.
