RUEL.

Wes had to practically drag Ruel out the room, as the male did not wish to leave the other's side and wanted to cuddle. "You're going to get into trouble."

"You're worth it." Ruel replied. The statement made Wesley's heart flutter and a faint blush cover his cheeks.

When Paris finally rejoined the pair in the room, Ruel was left with no choice but to leave with two people telling him he needs. Once he exited the room, he felt some pride in himself. It's been a while since someone offered to do something to him and it gave him butterflies to think about. Although the butterflies soon left, the smile on his face wouldn't.

Ruel spent a lot of his life feeling unwanted and only found himself filling the void, by sex partners. It gave him a feeling of self worth, but it only lasted for a short period of time leaving him to keep searching for more people.

Soon, his worth was only fueled by fucking and being called hot. Which led him down the road to a very unhealthy relationship with food. Although he was convinced that he was okay with the way things turned out. He felt disgusting every time he looked into a mirror and disconnected from reality.

It took a lot for him to start seeing himself as a person capable and deserving of love. With the help of the on-site therapist he was seeing, he was finally starting to understand his value and although he still seeked sexual gratification he lessened the need for it.

Ruel felt that he was getting better and that he would be able to live a life that didn't revolve around sex and his body weight, it was just harder sometimes. When his life felt out of control, being able to control how much food he was eating gave him a false sense of security. It soon developed into poor body issue and constant weight checks, his eating disorder was no longer about control anymore.

When his mom decided to send him here, he was dumbfounded. Was he really that terrible they needed to send him to a school to fix him? It wasn't until his mother spoke words that stuck in his brain and kept him coming back even though he hated it at time.

"I can't watch my son slowly kill himself without knowing I did everything I could." The pain in her voice made Ruel want to be better. He needed to do better for her. They had already faced losing his dad and the last thing he would ever want is to have her fear losing someone else. That's why each year he asked her to come back to this school. He started taking therapy more seriously, had tried his best to overcome his fear of eating and spent less time trying to get into random people's beds.

It wasn't until he saw Wes, that he felt the urge come back again. Ruel didn't know what he really wanted, he just wanted it to be with Wesley. He hadn't realized that he was soon very comfortable with Wes and didn't feel the pressure to do better and be better.

Although his friends meant well, he couldn't help but feel so guilty for not being able to eat even with their encouragement. The pressure would make him lose his appetite and he would feel like a failure throughout the rest of the day. When Wes asked to share food, there wasn't the feeling of pressure. It was such a simple ask and Ruel felt relieved. He would be able to enjoy some bites of an amazing cereal and still have his salad.
