Of course, Satori could not just leave things this way. Half-way through lunch he just gave up on the peace and quiet that had been reigning over their table, and just stood up, his chopsticks still in his hand, looking outraged and ready to be poking people's eyes with those, and the next thing that happened was – Wakatoshi found a mixture of a curious lover and a sulking lover in his lap, blabbering right into his face:

- Tell me! How can you keep me in the dark about something so important?! Why is it a surprise?! What are you planning??? I must know! You don't understand – I must know!!!

- I never said it was a surprise. – Ushijima answered calmly, lifting a bite to his lips, and almost ignoring the new weight upon his thighs.

- What is it??? – Satori wailed again, now attacking his lover's food with his own set of chopsticks, quite oblivious that he was actually doing it.

Wakatoshi blinked, and watched him chew, still pouting, though. He sighed a little and put his chopsticks down.

- Actually, I thought I might catch up on training today.

This probably was some last drop, because Tendō now gasped and banged his chopsticks onto the table too, glaring at Wakatoshi like never before.

There was some tense silence, while he was seething, and while Wakatoshi was simultaneously lost in confusion.

- Do you even love me??? – Satori finally hissed through his teeth.

- I do. I love you very much.

The answer was so simple and naïve that the red-head glared some more, but then just gave it up. It was hopeless. There were some things that Wakatoshi-kun would never understand.

- Huuuughhh! - he puffed, too ready to get out of his lover's lap and just storm off.

But reflexes were reflexes, and the heavy hands on his hips prevented him from moving instantaneously.

- Ugh... - he groaned, making a new attempt to get away, and failing.

- What now? You don't believe me? – Wakatoshi asked tersely.

- Nope! – Tendō huffed at him, squinting his eyes at him.

Ushijima was truly puzzled.

- Why would I ask you out on a date, if I didn't love you? It makes no sense.

- It does! - Satori puffed. – If you like torturing me! Ha!

Wakatoshi hummed briefly, and slowly inched in, getting his face closer to Satori's, ignoring his mumbling ("Eh, no, you don't! You can't bribe me this way! No!"). Yet, their kisses had always been special, from the very first one, to this one, today, and once their mouths merged, it didn't take too long for Tendō to melt into the pleasure, and kiss back with abandon and love. He leaned in too, pressing his chest to Wakatoshi's chest, and grabbing the front of his shirt into his fists, moaning, melting away, as it was great – it was so great that it was mind-blowing.

When they broke it up, he licked his lips, enjoying the taste of the food they had just shared, and grumbled:

- Not fair! You are just... such great kisser! Toshi-kun, not fair!

Ushijima smiled faintly. To him, the matter was resolved.

- One more... Please, just one more! – Tendō purred into his lips.

Yes, Ushijima was pretty sure the matter had been resolved.

- Baby, wat do I need to take with me? – Satori yelled from their room.
