Thinking back to the conversation Sumire had yesterday with ChoCho, she wondered why Eida's name was now something that haunted her and probably everyone else.

What exactly happened during her time away from college? It has been four months since then, and only Sumire appears to be upset.

Sumire sat up on her bed, staring at the clock, which read 2:28 AM.

A heavy sigh escaped her mouth as she grabbed her wallet and phone. Sumire walked outside and went to the nearest convenience store, which was also close to Boruto's house.

However, the actual close one was only a street away from Sarada's house.

Sumire walked in, grabbed some bread crumbs, and quickly paid. She sat inside, opened the bag, and ate them quietly as she gazed outside.

The streets were empty and well-lit by streetlights. Only a few people would pass by every five minutes, simply wandering the streets.

Sumire unlocked her phone and looked through the contacts she had previously messaged.

Sarada is the first one, followed by ChoCho, Boruto, and Kawaki.

"Leaving Kawaki confused was so stupid of me... I should really go apologize, but at this hour?" Sumire reflected as she put down her phone and resumed eating her bread crumbs.

Looking back outside, she saw a beautiful woman walking down the street in a black jacket. Her hair was long, with loops at the ends. Purple streaks and all of it blue.

When Sumire first saw her, she assumed she was Eida.

Her eyes widened, and she could not help but be amazed by her appearance, as she always was. Sumire shook her head, returning to reality, and questions began to run through her mind.

But the main question is, "What is she doing here?"

Sumire stood up and ran out of the convenience store, hoping to get a better look at her.

She has recently become obsessed with Eida and Kawaki's relationship, and Sumire's unexpected appearance was a complete coincidence!

Sumire looked the other way and noticed the Uzumaki house a few houses down.

Sumire quickly began to wonder if she was with Kawaki right now. Eida could not just walk these streets at night because she no longer lived in the village!

Sumire returned to the store, grabbed her phone, and dashed out to chase her. Sumire needed answers. What happened while she was away?

She stopped in the middle of the street and looked in all directions, hoping to catch a glimpse of her.

Instead, she only heard faint voices coming from her left.

Walking slowly, she tuned in and heard Eida. Her tone indicated that she was angry and upset with someone.

The following voice was Kawaki's.

Sumire's eyes widened, and she remained still and quiet while listening in.

Eida stood across from Kawaki, angry. Since their breakup, she has been looking for any way to get back at Kawaki.

"Did you do it? Did you send some random freak after her?" Kawaki asked, almost losing his patience already by being in her presence.

Eida chuckled. "What exactly are you talking about? Are you really here to accuse me of something I didn't do, Kawaki!?" She exclaimed with furrowed brows.

Kawaki turned away, laughing. Looking back at her, he gave her the same look he usually gives everyone.

"Considering that you made Himawari get an infection and suffer from a horrible illness for nearly a month, I believe you did do it!" he exclaimed.

Silence filled the air, and tension rose between the two. Both angry and accusing one another.

"Fine, I did it. She finally admitted, looking away.

Kawaki clenched his fists and took a deep breath to avoid lashout. "Why? What the fuck is wrong with you, Eida?" he asked, angrier than before.

She chuckled and turned to face him, her eyes filled with tears. "Kawaki quit hanging out with her! I promise to do better, and I will prove it to you! What does she have that I don't? After everything we have been through-" she was interrupted when Kawaki slapped her.

She gasped, kept her palm on her cheek, and stepped back in terror. "K-K-Kawaki?" she asked, looking back to meet cold eyes.

His eyes were cold as ice, and his aura was darker than usual. If expressions could kill, she would have been on the floor, pleading for mercy. "Why would I ever go back to a lying bitch like you, Eida?" he asked, his voice deep.

She remained frozen in front of him, looking at him insulted.

He got close to her and grabbed her arm so tightly that it stung her. "Hurt Sumire again, and the next time I won't be as soft. Now, stay the fuck away from my girlfriend, bitch." He whispered to her before removing his hand and walking away, both hands in his pockets.

Sumire saw him start walking towards her and dashed to an alleyway to avoid being caught.

She stood motionless in the dark, watching as he walked back, something dark trailing off of him.

"I didn't think I would see Kawaki hit her..." Sumire reflected as she finally walled off and went to see Eida.

Still frozen in the streets, she could hear her sniffling and crying.

She eventually fell to the floor and began sobbing.

"Sumire, don't feel bad." Sumire thought to herself as she clutched the street light and watched Eida break down.

However, instead of Sumire feeling bad, she instead felt satisfied.
