Respect Your Elders

Mario was sleeping on the ground in Peach's Castle. Not really sure why he wasn't sleeping at his own house, but good thing he didn't live there because he snored like a truck driver in his sleep. Peach was sure there wasn't any other single thing that could possibly keep her up until she heard the sounds of clanking outside. Mario came in with a cranky attitude. "What is all the hubbub? Mario is trying to sleep!" The two opened her window to see a giant hole and Toadsworth popping out with a light on his head and shovel in hand.

"Almost found those diamonds you wanted Princess!"

Toad burst through the front door with his pillow. He went up and kicked Toadsworth down the hole and shouted down "Will you shut up! People are trying to sleep!" He then grumpily marched inside as Mario laughed and said "Oh that little toady. He's always too coo coo crazy for Mario to handle." He then went back to sleep as Peach sighed and said "What does a person have to do to get some sleep around here?"

~The Next Morning~

Mario felt refreshed and ready for some well deserved spaghetti like he wanted every morning. He clipped through Peach's door and cheered "It's time for breaky! Make Mario some spaghetti" Peach groaned and buried her head into her pillow. "Mario...I'm too tired. Go make it yourself."

"Okie dokie!"

He was just about to start to the kitchen when Peach had a flashback of the last time Mario made spaghetti in her castle. He ended up burning the whole place down. She reached an arm out to stop him and said "Wait! Never mind." Mario confusingly asked "But Mario's hungry! Who will feed him?" Peach pointed outside and said "Toadsworth can help you. Just tell him that I want him to and he'll gladly do it." With that, she stretched her arm out to put Mario back in the hall and shut the door. "Finally I can get some rest." Just as she said that, Bowser's arm smashed through the ceiling and kidnapped her (yet again) as she screamed her head off.

Mario scratched his head, walking down the stairs. "What does that old geezer know about making spaghetti?" Mario tried giving him the benefit of the doubt and went outside. "TOADSWORTH!" He went over to the hole and peeked inside to find Toadsworth coming out with a chest full of diamonds. "Ah! Hello Mario. How can I help you?"

"Peach says you need to help Mario make spaghetti!"

"Oh ho! Anything for the princess! Come along my boy!"

Mario gladly followed him inside as he began taking out a pan when Toadsworth slapped it out of his hands. "Hold on there buster! There's a whole process of steps we have to complete." He pulled out something from the closet as Mario excitedly asked "Ooooo do you have a secret recipe for spaghetti sauce? Is that an ingredient!?" Toadsworth gave him a look of confusion and handed him "...It's a broom."

"Wait! MARIO HAS TO SWEEP!?"

"Yes! Now you do that while I do...do..shoot. I need to find a cooking book." He began looking around as Mario begrudgingly swept, using the wrong end. Toad came over and asked "Hey pal. You just blow in from stupid town?"

Mario was now out in a bunny suit with Toadsworth as he whispered "Does Mario have to wear this?" He nodded sternly and said "This is how you make proper spaghetti! Or at least that's what the book says." He takes it out and starts reading the recipe again when Wario and Waluigi come strolling up and sees the Italian and Mushroom in bunny suits. "WAHAHAHAH! Which way to the furry convention!?" Toadsworth looks up and waves to the two. "Hello gentlemen! Can I help you with something?"

Wario ignored his question and said in faux guilt "Oh you poor thing. Getting stuck with this loser when you just wanted spaghetti!" Even though Mario did kinda think Toadsworth was a loser, he stuck up for the guy. "Actually, Mario is really looking forward to his spaghetti!" Wario came a little closer and pointed to the butler. "I'm not talking about your stupid spaghetti! I'm talking about him!" He knew he was getting under Mario's skin when he said "It must be so embarrassing for you to be seen with him. Forgetting things, sucking up to Peach, and making you wear these humiliating costumes."
