To some,
I am part angel and part devil
I am half of what is meant to be,
part of what is not
it goes against what they believe,
but why label me as such
I am an angel,
pure, innocent, sweet,
obeying 'what is meant to be'
I am sin free
but why label me as such
I am a devil,
wrong, guilty, sinful,
for not obeying 'what's meant to be'
I am filled with sin
but why label me as such
Why does it matter who I am,
'it's not meant to be'
There is no proof for the claim,
'it is set in stone, clearly stated'
but by who?
You label me as part devil,
yet, arguably,
you are more devil than I,
committing sins, sometimes subconsciously
Perhaps, you are as I am,
what you claim is 'part angel and part devil'
yet you refuse to admit it,
or are scared to admit it,
instead,
you project it onto me,
and people like me
You are quick to judge,
label someone as 'angel and devil'
and some people,
you label as full devils.
why?
I, we, are not harming you,
I, we, are not bothering you,
we are all human,
what does it matter who we are otherwise?
To some,
I am part angel and part devil
they label me as such,
for not obeying what is meant to be.
I do not believe it matters,
what I am,
Who I am,
I am happy, full of joy,
I am not harming others,
I am not bothering others
arguably,
those who judge others,
for who they are, what they are,
are more devil than I,
full of sin, for unfair judgement,
is a form of sin as well.
