Sunghoon really didn't understand Jake.

He knew he liked the boy no scratch that he was absolutely certain he was in love with him depiste the fact they've only met two months ago Sunghoon felt like he had found his soulmate in Jake.

But the way Jake acted sometimes made him question everything, one minute Jake was all cuddly and clingy which Sunghoon obviously enjoyed the next the boy would randomly decide to be distant especially whenever anyone hinted that their dynamic was more than friends. Normally Jake would blush at that but these days he seemed to loved going distant at random times when someone mentioned their dynamic.

It was confusing to say the least

Sunghoon wanted to confess to Jake right now but he was caught in this web of doubt it had only been two months since they first met but time didn't seem to matter because he loved every second spent with the Aussie boy.
Every glance, every laugh, every stupid inside joke they were all Jake and right now, as he sat in the campus cafe with his friends all he could think about was his Jaeyunie

"Gay son or thot daughter?" Sunoo's voice snapped him out of his daydream

"What the fuck?" Sunghoon blinked trying to process the question

"You were zoning out bro" Sunoo said with that trademark sarcastic smile

"Were you even listening to what we were saying?"

"Yeah... totally" Sunghoon replied though he clearly hadn't been.

"sure, we believe you" Jungwon chimed in voice dripping with disbelief.

"and you were definitely not daydreaming about your Jaeyunie" Ni-ki added imitating the way Sunghoon said the nickname

"Yah! You're not allowed to call him Jaeyunie, only I can" Sunghoon scowled, making the others burst into laughter

"Loverboy alert!" Jay teased nudging Sunghoon "you know everyone except you two admits that you're in love with each other"

"you should just tell him before it's too late Hoon" Heeseung said eyeing Sunghoon with that older brother wisdom "besides Jake is totally into you. I'm sure of it"

"I don't know hyung" Sunghoon sighed running a hand through his hair "I can't figure him out what if he just sees me as a friend? it'd ruin everything we have now"

"You guys need to communicate better" Heeseung advised patting Sunghoon on the back "and I'm sure everything will be alright you're inseparable"

"Thanks, hyung" Sunghoon smiled feeling a bit more confident

Of course the talk never happened.

Jake was way too busy later that day and by the time Sunghoon remembered he'd chickened out

The University had announced a Camp to let the students stating the students get to know each other better,but it was just a scheme for the uni to collect more funds, not that the students would decline since the camps were very fun.

Fast forward to the university camp, where things were supposed to be fun and lighthearted but no, Sunghoon was still stuck in his head, overthinking everything. Jake, on the other hand seemed oblivious as always bouncing around with his typical golden retriever energy.

They both did come together till the bus stop but had to go on separate ones since they were both in different courses, Sunghoon absolutely didn't want to let go of his Jaeyunie but he had no choice.

"Dude you've been staring at Jake for like five minutes just go talk to him" Sunoo groaned, throwing a marshmallow at Sunghoon from across the campfire

Sunghoon caught it tossing it back with a smirk "I wasn't staring I was... admiring"
