*Valentina's POV*
Ivy steps in and throws her arms around Danielle, Danielle hugs her back enthusiastically, I stand there my lip in a thin line.
"I missed you so much" Ivy says, I bet she did, that girl always had feelings for Danielle, even an idiot can see that, that's why I never liked her, but Danielle reassured me that they are just friends and that Ivy doesn't have feelings for her, of course I know that's not the case but I'm not some insecure little girl who would ever tell her soon to be wife who she can be friends with, I trust Danielle enough, enough that I know that she wouldn't even give Ivy the chance to start something.
They've been hugging for quiet a time now, I clear my throat, they stop laughing for a little as they turn to me.
"So Ivy" I start "What exactly are you doing here because I recall you didn't really answer that question" she jumped in Danielle's arm right after she asked her.
"Yeah about that I just came here for Dani, I know she just did her bar exam so I thought I'd pay a visit" she says smiling, I hum.
"How long are you planning to stay exactly?" I ask her, I hope 1-2 days tops.
"A few weeks if that's okay" she says, I widen my eyes, oh that's so not okay, I wait for Danielle's reaction, she hugs her again.
"I'm so glad, I can show you around Philly then properly" she says, okay then it's okay.
"Darling you have to work you know" I remind her kindly.
"Actually I don't at least not this next 2 weeks, we all got this time off because of the bar exam, you can think of this time our vacation" she explains, why am I just hearing about this now?
I just nod, Ivy gives Danielle another hug, I want to stab my eyes honestly "I'm so glad we can spend 2 weeks together" Ivy says, yeah I'm really glad too.
"Come on I'll show you to a guest room, also I'll do a tour tomorrow, it's just already late and I guess you're tired from travelling" Danielle says before taking Ivy's hand and leading her upstairs, I sigh as I head towards the kitchen.
Honestly I'm not too happy about this, it's not that I mind that someone has a crush on my girl because I know that they have no chance, it's more that I was really looking forward to spending some well deserved time with Danielle finally, and now that miss 'I'm staying for a few weeks and I totally want to fuck your fiancée' is here, yeah let's just say the chances to spending some time together is close to 0%, okay that's actually not mathematically correct, the mathematically correct answer is that I have between 10-20% chance but it's still not too bright.
I drink a glass of water before I head upstairs, I get into the shower and try washing everything off, my mind is a whirlwind right now.
After I'm done I put a silk robe on me, and head into our room, Danielle is still not in there, I head down into the guest rooms to find her.
I find them in one of the guest rooms, they are laughing on the bed, I lean against the doorframe, Ivy is the first who notices me and she stops laughing, Danielle looks back and sees me, her eyes trail down my body and she bites her lips, I smirk to myself.
"Having fun?" I ask them.
Ivy looks down, she takes her hand away from Danielle's thigh, I wanna say I'm suprised but I'm not really, although I may break her hand if she keeps touching what's mine.
"Yeah, I was just showing Ivy everything and then we started talking and well you know how that is" Danielle says still smiling, I smile then too, I love seeing her happy, more than anything.
