•• Nina's pov ••
I pick Harlow up out of her crib and change her into winter clothes. I put her snow suit on and walk out of her room.
I walk into our bedroom and see Ian still sleeping.
I place Harlow on his chest.
He opens his eyes and smiles and laughs.
"She looks like a marshmallow." He laughs.
"Or that kid from the Christmas story movie." I laugh.
"Her face expression. She's like "this isn't funny mommy and daddy I can't move anything." I say.
Ian sits up and holds her.
"Are we going outside to play in it?" Ian asks.
"We are. So get up and throw some clothes on." I grab Harlow.
"We will meet you down stairs." I smile and walk out of the room.
I sit Harlow down on her play mat. Even though she can't move her little arms, I hand her a toy to hold.
"Daddy will be ready in a minute and we will take you to go play in the snow for the first time!" I kiss her.
I turn the iPod deck on and put some Christmas music on.
Ian comes down stairs a few minutes later.
"We need to take a picture." He says.
I grab Harlow and Ian holds the phone out to snap a picture of all 3 of us.
"She looks so pissed off." Ian laughs.
"Let's go outside." I say and open the front door.
"Look Harlow, this is snow." I bend down with her and place some in the glove.
She looks at it and touches it.
She giggles.
"Let's build a snow man." Ian suggests.
"You build it, Harlow and I will decorate it." I smile.
I grab harlows baby wrap and put it on. I slide her in and she lays her on my chest.
I bend down and roll up a snowball.
I turn around and throw it at Ian, smacking his butt.
"Nina!" He shouts and smirks.
"No snowball fights." He laughs.
"Go get him some sticks for his arms." He says.
I walk over to a big tree and see 2 branches laying on the ground.
"Here you go." I hand them to him and he sticks them into the snowman.
"Here's a rock for the nose." I stick it on.
And we can use this scarf. I unwrap it from around my neck.
"What about his eyes?" Ian asks.
"Go grab some sunglasses." I say.
Ian runs inside and comes back out.
He sticks the sunglasses on the snowman.
"It looks good!" I say and take a picture of it.
"Harlow is asleep." Ian says.
"Of course she is. Only our baby would fall asleep while playing in the snow." I say.
We walk back inside the house.
"I'll make us some hot chocolate." Ian says and I walk upstairs.
