•• Nina's pov ••

"Are your parents almost here?" I ask Ian.

We finish getting the basement ready for them.

We have my parents in the guest room. Alex and Robert on a mattress in the library. Robyn has the second guest room. And Ian's parents are down here.

"Mom just texted and said they just went through the square." Ian says.

"Okay let's head back upstairs." I say.

I look at my parents laughing in the living room and I look back at Ian.

He smiles.

Alex has Harlow in his lap playing peek a boo.

A few minutes later Ian's family arrives.

We get them settled in and have some snacks.

"I bought these boots for Harlow!" Robyn hands me these little reindeer boots.

"Those are so cute!" I say and show Ian.

He puts them on her little feet. And she tries to take them off.

"So cute!" My mom says.

"Is everyone ready?" I ask.

We're going to the mall to get Harlows picture with Santa.

Ian, me, Harlow, Robyn, Alex, and Robert all pile into the Tahoe.

Our parents driving behind us.

"Turn some Christmas music on." Robyn says to Ian.

Jingle Bell Rock starts playing.

We all start singing a long.

"We should go caroling." Alex says and laughs.

"Yes because we have such talent with singing." I joke.

We get to the mall and walk inside.

The line for Santa isn't to bad.

Our parents go into a store.

Robyn stays with Ian and I while the boys go to the game store.

"I hope she likes Santa." Robyn says.

"I hope she doesn't cry." I fix the headband on Harlow's head. And she plays with the bracelet on my wrist.

We're next in line so Ian and I walk up to the Santa.

"Hi there, and who is the little cutie?" Santa asks as we hand her to him.

"This is Harlow." I say.

"Hi Harlow." Santa says.

Harlow stares at him and giggles.

Good. She's not afraid.

"Nina let's be in the picture." Ian says with a smile.

He pulls me into his side and wraps his arm around my waist.

We take 2 different pictures.

Santa hands Harlow back to Ian.

"Merry Christmas!" Santa tells us.

He hands us a candy cane.

"Those were so cute!" Robyn says as we get our pictures.

"Ian was terrified of Santa." She laughs.

"When I go back to mom and dads I'll look for the pictures of his first 3 Christmas's." Robyn says and laughs.

"Well maybe this ba.." I stop myself.
