“This isn’t how I wanted you to meet my cousin.” Sunghoon said, warily eyeing the alpha who had begun cracking his knuckles menacingly.

Sunoo’s eyes widened at the realization that this was Sungchan, someone who Sunghoon had brought up a handful of times. He didn’t exactly see the familial resemblance, other than the fact that Sungchan was a hot alpha too. But that was pretty much it.

“-so you’re the asshole who had sex with my boyfriend?” Sungchan was in the middle of accusing Jake of the worst slime crime imaginable. He easily towered over the other alpha, to the point where he and Jake didn’t even look like they were the same species.

“We broke up- !” Wonbin tried to intervene but Sungchan wasn’t having it.

“You piece of shit.” He growled and reached out to bunch his fist in the collar of Jake’s shirt, squeezing a pathetic squeal out of the alpha.

“Omega’s voices matter!” Jake said, voice rapidly rising in pitch with how scared he was. “Listen to him!”

Despite being backed up by Jake, Wonbin just looked disappointed.

“I can’t believe he’s the best omega activist I know.”

“Yeah, Jakey loves omegas.” Heeseung said with a shit eating grin, his words adding more fuel to Sungchan’s fire.

“I’m going to kill you.” Sungchan said plainly and the small crowd that had gathered around this confrontation began murmuring to themselves.

“Should we intervene?” Sunoo asked Sunghoon, trying to gauge how dangerous this Sungchan guy was. If Jake was only going to get roughed around a little, Sunoo wanted to go back to creating a health hazard in the kitchen with Sunghoon again.

“Sungchan hyung’s usually not this aggressive.” Sunghoon looked concerned, looking around the room as if evaluating the situation. “Your weird friend must be the problem.”

“Hey!” Sunoo squawked and smacked Sunghoon on the bicep. “Jake hyung might be a weirdo but he’s my weirdo!”

Sunghoon turned to Sunoo and his serious face was transformed by a pout, going from protective wolf to pathetic little puppy.

“I thought I was your weirdo…”

“I have room for a lot of weirdos in my heart.” Sunoo reassured Sunghoon, cuddling him close before turning back to the scene of the soon to be slime crime.

Jake seemed to have enough of being shaken around like one of Sunghoon’s protein shakes and reached over to paw desperately at Heeseung.

“Hey! Me and this guy are dating!” Jake shouted and the smirk instantly dropped off Heeseung’s face. “And we’re both alphas! So! You trying to kill me looks really problematic right now!”

Heeseung tipped his head back and let out a long suffering sigh before placing an awkward hand on Jake’s shoulder.

“It’s true…” Heeseung said, not looking the slightest bit happy about this.

“My alpha.” Jake whispered in awe and Heeseung looked like he wanted to die.

“I did hear a rumor they were together...” Someone in the crowd said and a bunch of people made various noises agreeing.

“Yeah me too!”

“Same here.”

Sungchan instantly let go of Jake and cast an apologetic look at the crowd whose murmurs began to grow loud and disapproving.
