16. parisians are shitty/ the problem with our jobs

Yep. You read it correctly. Parisians are shitty, and here's why : most of them don't have the life they want (yet) so they're gloomy and sad. They don't focus on their goals and how to actually achieve them : it is usually to be doing studies they really like and are good in, so that they can elevate themselves and get the life they want. Thus, they consider everything annoying and themselves not good enough. That mindset won't get them anywhere. As they walk down the streets they look at the dark sky and think : "wtf am i doing here, what's the purpose of my life ?". It only exacerbates that feeling of mediocrity, and push them further away into their depression and anxiety. Don't be surprised if people from sunny and poor countries look at them (us) and say "They have everything we want, everything we could need and everything they need. How can they not enjoy this life?".
That hits hard doesn't it ? I think it's pretty amazing to live once you realize this. Because even if they have the capacities (i often hear people say "yeah, i don't know if i want to do that but i have the ability so ill just do it and hope it goes well), even if they could do this, cause we are in an advanced civilization where everyone is free of their actions, i think surely it is not what they should go for. Think about this with me for a minute yeah? What's the f*cking POINT in doing this ? Do you think after all this useless effort you will be happy ?
And some might say : "yeah, but we need people studying those fields and doing those jobs, in the end someone has to do it anyway." Well i don't believe in that. I believe it would redistribute itself. The fields matching with the people, slowly, not perfectly. And i'm not saying it would give us peace and that no one would be sad anymore.
How come in such civilized societies there's still migrants taking out garbage ? How come some of them serve the privileges in singapore, and are called "helpers" like they chose this life and truly are altruistic people ? I truly someone is going to realize this issue, better late than ever : we could actually guide people in their vocations, and if we did, we'd have better engineers, creating systems to collect garbage without no one working, solving worldwide problems one by one, with creativity, kindness, empathy and passion. How come Singapore chose to put money into having a immigration system that is so strict, with people working just to say to immigrants that they can only stay 2years and that they have to work for rich people ?
