Avi's Cabin

"Avi will you please get up already? Let's eat breakfast together." Avi heard Jeremiea's voice from the other line.
"I want to sleep more." Avi lazily replied as she buried her face on her pillow.
"Wow, you just posted on your socials about good morning post and productivity but look at you. You're still laying on your bed." Jeremiea keep ranting on the other line but Avi just laugh on her.
"Clout chaser." Jeremiea spoke again before ending the call.
Avi was about to fall asleep again but someone get in her room.
"Señorita here is your breakfast." Jeremiea said in her sarcastic tone as she put the tray of food down on the bed.
Avi sit up as she smile at Jeremiea.
"Gross." Jeremiea rolled her eyes that made Avi laugh.
Jeremiea was about to eat but Avi stop her.
"Wait, I'll take a picture first." Avi grin at her. Jeremiea just shake her head in displeased.
"What a clout chaser." She whispered.
"I heard that you know." Avi act offended.
"Much better."

Jeremiea and Avi are working in their office. They are both focus on their own work and transaction. Jeremiea keep giving Avi a quick glance.

A phone call interrupt their working time. Avi turn her attention to her phone.
"Hello, Mom?" She said as soon as she answer the call.
"When is her arrival?"
"Oh okay."
"I'll be there, yeah, okay. Bye Mom." She puts down her phone and was about to continue her work but Jeremiea asked her.
"Does the plan for tonight still up?"
"I'm sorry Je. I have some errands to run later." She apologetically look at Jeremiea.
"Ask Crys and Gleen, maybe they can make it tonight." Avi suggested with hope. Jeremiea smile lip-tight as she shake her head.
"Busy daw sila later." Jeremiea turn back to her work and act like nothing happened.
"We will make it up to you next time." Avi softly said but Jeremiea just nod at her.

Mavi's POV
The plane just landed here at Cebu. But I already wanted to go back in Manila. This doesn't feel right. I feel like I am doing something wrong. I don't understand.
Before my flight that was book by Lynsaie, me and my dad had a briefing about this trip. He told me that he book me a 2 months vacation here in Cebu. What am I going to do with my free time here? When the only thing that I know is to work, always work.
At first I don't really have any plan to agree with my dad but since he keep on insisting, I decided to at least give it a shot.
Wala naman sigurong mawawala kapag sinubukan kong maging masaya ulit.
I messaged my dad about sa magsusundo sakin dito. And he told me to wait for a while.
But it's been hour since I got here and this so annoying. I took a deep breath and sigh. I'm tired and really want to take a rest. But this plan of my dad is giving me an headache. I massage the back of my head and I close my eyes. I'm still standing outside the airport. My back is aching and my feet are sore. I can feel my body screaming for rest. I am trying to relax my nerves when I felt a strong push from someone.
'How far this day could go?' I thought as I open my eyes. I took a sharp breath.

When Avi got off from work she immediately made her way to airport to pick up their visitor that her mom asked her earlier.
But on her way to airport, her car suddenly stop in the middle of the road. She went out from the car and saw her flat tire.
"How lucky of me." She slap her forehead as she get inside of her car.
She don't know what to do since the vulcanizing shop is far from her location right now. And there's no passing car in the road.
"Lord, why now? Grabe ka talaga sakin. Mapapagalitan na ako ni mommy nito." Just right after her sentence, her phone rings.
"I knew it." She let out a heavy sigh.
"Hello, mom" She said
"Don't hello me Avirelle." She heard from the other line.
"Ms. Quihano has been waiting for you already. Nakakahiya, pinaghihintay mo yung bisita. "
"Mom, I'm sorry pero kasi flat yung tire ko. " She scratch her nape as she stare on the flat tire.
"Gumawa ka ng paraan, how irresponsible of you." Her mother end the call.
An idea popped up on her mind.

Jeremiea POV
"Quihano?" I said to myself
"Don't tell me." I shake my head
Malabo naman na siya yun.
Matapos ang halos kalahating oras na pagmamaneho ay nakarating na ao sa airport. Wala na masyadong taong lumalabas mula sa loob. Inilibot ko ang tingin ko sa paligid pero parang wala naman bagong dating dito.
"Sabi ni Avi madaling hanapin." Bulong ko sa sarili ko.
I took my phone out from my pocket to ask Avi about the visitor. Habang naglalakad ako ay nakatingin pa din ako sa message ko kay Avi baka sakaling magreply siya. Pero wala, baka lowbatt na phone niya. Napabuntong hinga na lang ako.
'Grabe na 'tong si Avi'
I just keep on walking while looking around when I sudden bumped with someone
"Shit! Sorry." I apologized as a I held my forehead in embarrassment
"You've curse at me then say you're sorry? Rude." She said , I can hear the coldness and the distant in her voice.
