Mavi's POV

"I don't know what to do anymore." I whispered as I walked around in my room.

I'm so ashamed of what I have done to Avi. Because of that I don't even have any idea how to redeem myself to her. I'm aware how much pain I've caused her.

I was afraid to be hurt but ended up hurting other people.

I'm so mad at myself right now but it is what it is.

" You're such a jerk, Mavi."

"Argh!"

If only I could bring back the time, I would.

I've been trying to reach her out for a few weeks now. But it seems that she really doesn't want to see me. I even went to her cabin but she didn't open her door for me. I attempted to go to her office but her secretary told me that I am not allowed to be there.

Maybe this is what she felt when it was me ignoring her.

Trust me, I understand but it frustrates me.

Now that I am thinking about it, my head hurts.

Third POV

Mikha sent a message to Gleen asking if they can hangout together. She went to shower and prepare herself.

She received a response from Gleen telling her to go to her condo near the hotel of Salvadors.

Mikha chooses to spend some time with Gleen since Crys won't talk to her unless she makes up her mind.

Mavi arrived at Gleen's Condo.

"Have a sit, Mavi." Gleen motioned for her to sit on the couch.

"Thank you." Mavi then sits on the couch as she lets out a sigh. She roams her eyes around the place then glances at Gleen, who is busy preparing their drinks.

"Never in my life expect you to actually live here alone." Mavi spoke lightly trying to open up a conversation.

"Yeah." Gleen shortly agreed with her.

Mavi chose to keep her mouth shut again and watch Gleen silently.

After a few minutes, Gleen walked up to her with  beers and food.

" You don't have to prepare a lot, Gleen." She initiated a conversation again.

"No worries." Gleen smiled as she sat across Mavi.

"Thank you." Mavi spoke lightly with her.

"For what?" Gleen asked as she offered Mavi a drink.

"For this? You said yes instantly when I asked you for time" Mavi replied as she accepted the drink.

They keep talking in a casual way for almost an hour.

They talk about how their life went.

"It's been a while na din no? The last time we spent time together was like 6 years ago?" Mavi started to ask a personal question as she is staring at Gleen.

"Yeah, 6 years." Gleen plainly replied as she kept her eyes away from Mavi.

"I missed you." Mavi softly spoke. Gleen slowly lift her gaze to Mavi as she smiled without saying anything.

'You don't, you're here because you and Crys were not on good terms.'

Gleen smiled sadly with her thoughts as she looked down on the bottle in her hand.

She excused herself and went to the washroom but when she came back Mavi was not there anymore.

She sent a message to Crys telling her about what happened but she never received any response.

She put her phone away as her tears flowed down on her face.

"Why do I even expect you to stay when I know you will always leave once you're okay."

Mavi drove her way to Avi's. The road is slippery because of the heavy rain but she didn't mind it. She doesn't know anymore what is happening around her.

She knows that Gleen will be very upset for leaving without notice but she can't think straight. Maybe because she's drunk or simply because she wants to see someone.

She went down from her car and banged the door. She's shaking because of the coldness.

On the other hand, Avi is having a deep talk with Crys when suddenly they hear a loud bang from the door.

" Avi,why don't we listen to her-

*BANG

They stared at each other first before they walked up to the door together.

"Open the door, Gleen might be telling the truth." Crys said as she went back to the living room.

As expected, it's Mavi who is soaking wet because of the rain.

Mavi suddenly pulled her for a hug.

Avi froze as she eyes widened. But she didn't say anything.

"Avi. I'm here." Mavi whispered.

" I won't go anywhere." She added.

Then slowly Mavi gets heavier.

She dozed off in Avi's arms.

Avi put arms around her to keep their balance.

A tears fell from her eyes.

Mavi went out from Avi's room and saw Crys who was already looking at her and then she turned to Avi who was silently preparing breakfast for them.

She looks back at Crys and raises her brows as if she's asking what's happening.

"I have to go now Avi. Thank you sa time kagabi." Crys broke the silence as she stood from her seat.

"Where are you going?" Mavi asks in her raspy voice.

"I'll be going to my work honey." Crys wink at her and walk out.

She was confused and turned her head to Avi who was throwing glare at the door. Mavi scratches her nape and walks closely to Avi.

"Avi." Mavi said under her breathe. Avi didn't budge and keep her mouth shut. Mavi was about to hold her hands.

" Don't."Avi coldly said.

She walk away from Mavi and walk in the living room. Mavi follow her behind and hold her wrist and made Avi face her. "Look, I know I was wrong okay? I'm sorry." Mavi apologize.

Avi slaps her hand away and shakes her head. Her eyes gleam as she steps back.

"You're not sorry. Because if you really are, why am I only hearing it now? After what you've done? You made me feel so stupid and desperate and you're being sorry? I don't need any apology from you because I know you're only saying that so you won't be guilty not because you regret it ." Avi stood there as tears flowed down on her cheeks.

"Kaya nga nandito ako diba? I really am sorry Avi." Mavi pleaded as she approached Avi, but this time Avi didn't even move an inch as she let out a sob after sob.

" You made me feel like a fool Mavi. Bakit mo naman ginawa yun? I just know you for a short span of time pero you made me feel things na I can't even explain. Sana sinabi mo na lang if you can't commit kasi I won't force you naman." Avi said between her sob.

Mavi stares at her and wipes her tears away. She placed a soft kiss on her forehead. They both close their eyes. Mavi sneaks her arms around Avi's waist as she buries her face on Avi's neck.

"I'm really sorry, hon. I didn't mean to make you feel like that. I messed up. I know. Please let me make it up to you." Mavi softly planted a kiss on her neck.

They both cried their heart out until they ran out of tears.
