Mavi already accepted the reality that she won't be here any longer. The doctor made it clear that the damage from the accident years ago is still here. How cruel life can be?

She wants to see Avi. She needs her.

Mavi booked a flight to Cebu.

"Mavi." Avi spoke when she saw Mavi sitting on the sand the latter did not turn her head to Avi.

"Hon." Mavi weakly said almost as a whisper. Avi remains standing behind Mavi as she stares at her with gleaming eyes. Avi walks beside her but Mavi keeps her eyes looking straight ahead. She sits beside her, their shoulders almost touching.

"I'm sorry." Mavi finally turns her head to Avi, just to see Avi already staring at her. Avi reaches her cheek as she wipes Mavi's tears.

"I'm so selfish to keep it from you. I really am sorry." Mavi let out a painful sob as she held onto Avi's hands. Avi's tears slowly flow down on her cheeks.

"Why don't you ever tell me about us? " Avi asked. They put their forehead together as their hand intertwined tightly, no one is willing to let go.

"There's no point to tell you. You can't even remember me, your wife." Mavi replied.

"But why don't you show up at least? I will understand it if only you came earlier. You're so annoying Mavi." Avi said.

"I was there, always. When you fall asleep at night I kiss you and sing your favorite song. When you walked here on the seaside I was standing just right behind you. When you were dancing under the rain I was dancing along with you. When you drink up your favorite coffee I was drinking mine too. I was always there. I always have been." Mavi softly spoke despite her tears.

"You are? I didn't know. But hey isn't it amazing how I still fall in love with you even though my mind can't remember you? My heart beats as if you own the half of it. My heart only wants you Mavi. And even if my mind can't remember you but my heart knows that you are familiar." Avi lovingly said. They pull away as they stare at each other.

"I want us to stay just like this, love. No matter where we are ,our heart will only beat to whom it belongs." Mavi said as she cups Avi's cheek using both of her hands. Avi put her hand above Mavi's hand.

"We will stay like this, love. No matter where we are. You own the half of me. You will always be the only Mavi in my life." Avi assures Mavi as they smile with bitterness and sweetness.

"You own the half of me as well, Avirelle." Mavi states it as if it's a promise.

"Thank you, love" Avi said. Mavi went closely to Avi and she pulled her into her arms as she put her face closely to Avi's neck. Inhaling her scent, other tears fell from her eyes.
"Always, hon" She whispered. Avi tightened her grip on Mavi's shirt as she let out a sob. She can't feel her breathing anymore. She stays still as she hugs her even more.

Avi reaches her phone on her pocket.

"Crys, she fell asleep na. Our Mavi is finally taking her rest."
