Morning came, Mavi slowly open her eyes as she blink away it's weariness.

“Why am I here?” she thought

Just right after that, Gleen walk in the room. The latter cautiously clear her throat as she walk closely to Mavi.

"How are you feeling now?" She asked Mavi.

"I don't know what to feel anymore." Mavi looked away from her as she stare outside the window. A tears rolls down on her cheeks.

"The more I stayed, the more guilt builds inside me. I can't even control myself from making mistakes." Mavi almost choked as she finish her words.

Gleen stood there, silently observing Miro.

Another footsteps coming can be heard. Miro quickly wipes her tears away.

" Why are still lying there? Let's head down already, breakfast is ready." Crys who just came in spoke using her friendly tone as she can.Just like that Crys walk out from the room. She can't bare with the thought of losing Mavi last night.

" Crys is right, fix yourself and head downstairs later. We don't want Avi to wait longer than she has been doing last night. Don't we?" Gleen asked and was about to walk away but Mavi stops her.

"Gleen, can- can you... please uh, take this pain away. Please? Why does it hurt so much? I just want to live my life again. It doesn't feel right. I -I miss her. Please-" Mavi wasn't able to finish her sentence when she felt like she's losing her breath. Her tears flows uncontrollably. Her lips was shaking as she hug her knees. The pain in her voice makes it hard for Gleen to move.

" I'm sorry, Mavi." Gleen walked up to her slowly as she pulled her for a hug.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry" Gleen gently rubbed her back as she placed a soft kiss on Mavi's head. Mavi broke down in her hug. Her sobs became painful to handle.

"I'm here." Gleen hold her tightly in her arms.

Two days passed in a blink of an eye. Mavi stays with Avi in her cabin to make sure she's doing well.

" Do you want some hot chocolate?" Avi asked Mavi, who's sitting on the couch in the living room as Avi take a seat beside her. But Mavi didn't seems to heard her question.

Avi put her hand on the woman's thigh as she give it a light squeeze. Mavi finally turn to her with confused looks on her face.

"Are you okay?" Avi lean closer as she caress her face. Mavi seems to melt on her touch as she lean to it. Unconsciously, Mavi buried her face to Avi's neck. Avi just processed rubbing her back comfortingly.

"I missed you so much." She heard as desperate whispered from Mavi.

"We're are together the whole time." Avi let out a light chuckles.

"So? Should I make hot chocolate for you?" Avi asked her. She felt the woman nod and Mavi pull back from the hug. She stares at her for a while as she lean closer and planted a quick kiss on her forehead. Avi just smile and tap her shoulder before she walk in the kitchen.

Mavi watch her while doing her thing. But she was pulled from her thoughts when her phone rings that is place on the table beside the couch. She immediately pick it up when she saw Lynsaie number on the screen. She stare at Avi's back before she walk into the balcony as she answers the call.

"Mavi" She heard a unfamiliar voice from the other line.

Mavi stayed quiet as her eyebrows creased. She sat on the wooden chair in the balcony.

"This is Shayne, Lynsaie's girlfriend. I have something to tell you." Then again she heard a quiet whisper.

"Shayne?" Mavi confirmed.

"Yes. This must be hard to believe but I think you should go back here in Manila. We really need to talk in person. Lynsaie is not trustworthy enough. Believe me.Sorry I just had this chance to call you. Lynsaie will be back in few minutes so I will end this call. Please consider it. I will message you my number. Just message me if you're going here and we'll meet up." Shayne, seems to be in hurry and quickly end the call before Mavi even utter a word.

“What is happening?” she thought.

Mavi stare on the screen of her phone as her thoughts consumed her mind.

“Mavi, I will always be here for you”

“Mavi, I am willing to risk my life for you”

“Mavi, come on! Don't be shy, tell me. You love me right? Don't worry, I love you bestie. Hahaha.”

A lot of memories they had together flash before her eyes. A tears roll down on her cheeks.

"Please don't tell me that I am right all along."

Early in the morning Jeremiea stands infront of Avi's Cabin. She was about to knock but the door swang open.

"What are you doing here?" Avi walk out from her cabin and walk ahead, Jeremiea trail behind her.

"Avi look, I'm sorry for what happened." Jeremiea spoke that made Avi stop from walking as she turn to Jeremiea.

"Seriously Je? Why does it takes you week for you to admit your mistake?" Avi asked while looking at Jeremiea with so much disappointment.

"Please Avi, I'm really sorry for what happened." Jeremiea begged as she attempt to reach for Avi's hand but Avi step away from her.

Jeremiea's eyes grimaced while looking at Avi.

"I understand if you're upset with me, but what I don't understand is why do you have to lay your hands on Mavi? And if you're going to use your drunk excuses, you're still wrong." Avi explained then turned away from Jeremiea, but stopped when she heard the latter's word.

"You like her."

"Why her?"

"And why not me?" Jeremiea weakly asked.

"You're right, I like her. Think about it, if I would really fall for you that should happened already even before she came. We've been friends for almost half of my life and that's all I can give. So please stop making it hard for both of us." Just like that, Avi started to walk away and left Jeremiea standing there alone.
